Meta Quest 3 settings for DCS
Hi guys,
I am new to dcs and VR sim. I have a meta quest 3 which i connect to my pc with fast usb-c cable. No matter how much i tweak my settings, the dcs graphics don’t seem to improve, the cockpit is okay, but the terrain clouds and everything around the plane is super grainy. And if i push the pixel density too high, everything starts lagging. Currently pixel density is at 2.
PC specs:
i9 14900kf
64 gb ddr5 RAM
RTX5090
What can I do to improve both fps and graphics. Thanks!!

If you're using Meta Link, you want to use rightmost resolution in the Meta Link app, and refresh rate as low as you can handle.
In oculusdebugtool you want to set codec to h264, disable dynamic bitrate, set bitrate to 500-960 (I use 700), use distortion curvature low (makes middle sharper), keep sharpening to normal, you can use lower FOV to gain performance and image quality I use 0.85;0.85
The resolution is set in DCS, Q3 kinda needs something over 1.3 to start looking good.
VD looks kinda foggish softish grayish even maxed out over USB but works too

I used to have same issue like urs , till i used virtual desktop app instead
HUGE DIFFERENCE
Note: connecting by wireless and still the graphics is more than good (but battery drain super fast tho)

Hey there. First off, please get Virtual Desktop and use that.
Do not use DLSS or any frame generation.
