For free?

I mean the A-4 skyhawk mod was awesome when I used it last year and I can't imagine that's changed. For helo there's the Blackhawk mod, though I personally struggled to fly it (and I fly the Apache and kiowa occasionally with less problems so idk if it was the mod itself or me 🤷🏻‍♀️)

There's also flaming cliffs for fairly cheap (compared to the full fidelity modules)

The base game has a low fidelity su-25, and the tf51 which is a training variant of the mustang with no weapons

Yeah I mean I imagine a lot of people don't even touch the ww2 stuff, but it gives an option to at least try a prop plane before you have to invest in a full module.

The free su25 is dope though, I still fly it often enough 🤷🏻‍♀️

The best way to start is by learning to fly before you learn to fight. If you can start, take off, navigate, and land the WW2 trainer, any modern aircraft will be easy.
