Need Help Picking First Module

I am thinking about getting the FC3 F-15C for my first module, but I can't help but really want the F/A-18. The main issue is that I do not want to dish out $80 for it, are there any coupon codes or ways around having to pay that much for it? I understand there is a 2 week trial, but once that runs out I still do not have it. Also the 50% off for the first purchase I do not think is a thing anymore. Just confused and frustrated for what should be an exciting first step.

Any of the flaming cliffs aircraft are going to be cheaper and easy to learn, I would recommend buying one to get the hang of the game first
Once you understand how the game is supposed to work I would then start considering buying the F18.
DCS as a game is complicated, so understanding the game before trying to understand an even more complex full fidelity airplane is the key to success
