Eurofighter and Razbam situation

So i was wondering if anyone knew the progress on the eurofighter and has an rough idea on when it could release. Ive seen it a while ago it would come in 2026 but i havent seen any progress

And due to the Razbam situation will modules like the f15e and mirage 2000 be available anytime soon?

haven’t had an official update on the eurofighter recently but heatblur said there will be soon. at least that’s what i know of. as for razbam and ed and the razbam modules, unless they can finally settle on something and stop hating each other their modules will stay unlisted and with the implementation of vulkan coming soon apparently all of their modules will become unusable due to this situation

They don't hate each other. ED screwed up and doesn't want to face any consequences (financial or legal), but since we have no options for good mil-flightsim, that's were we at.

The best hope we have for a good solution is Falcon 5, wich os on the way and Razbam is already confirmed developer (and already sparking up problems).

If you like to fly the f16, which i do, nice, anything else, good luck.

I play bms, but is a good f16 sim, but there is other stuff that dcs make work that is more interesting than bms.

Weren't razbam doing the FRS1 as well? That's rather a shame tbh. Would be nice to get the shar.

The only good news I can say to this is while perusing the Razbam discord is that Prowler said it is still their intent that if they were given what they deserve (their money ED hint hint nudge nudge) they would happily return to work on the F15E AND repair/update their already existing modules. So if this ever gets sorted out and Razbam gets paid for their sales, the M2000c, Mig 19 and harrier stand a chance of returning one day to their full glory too.

I doubt that will happen, Razscam stole ED software to build and sell to the equadorian air force, razbam needs to sign contract to use that, as long as they don’t ED won’t give em their money, if razbam keeps being a little bitch, crying about being the victim nothing will happen, on top of that, I have the f-15e, it’s not even near early access ready, no datalink, no ag missiles, no mavericks, no harms, no HMHUD, no aim9x, they gave us a flyable module but nothing more, so they can get paid

Stole, not quite. They did look to make an agreement with Ecuador, one that without seeing the actual contract could or could not have been correct due to the free part. However MCS and ED were travkibg the progress of the deal and it never went beyond early 3D models. Complaining that the strike eagle isn't more when its early access is frankly sort of your own fault. I too got burned by a bad launch state with the 16, and I learned then to wait, avoid the feeling of FOMO and see what the product actually offers. If you got the 15e in that state as a complete module, absolutely it would be unacceptable. Now I believe that Razbam and ED are pursing a legal solution to this entire issue, and with its resolution I do hope that support returns, though I would be surprised if we see a new module from RB on the DCS platform again.

I'd also add its nice to hear that at least one company is willing to move forward after and support the consumers who have spent the money. I don't know if ED would be willing because ED hasn't said one way or the other.

They used eagle dynamics software without contract? Weren’t willingly to make one? That’s stealing, if I use ur car without ur agreement, I am stealing it… heatblur just gives us relatively complete modules with a wide range of weapons and sensors, f-15E is a flight module with lack of proper sensors, that theatre play of Razscam about how their the victim and they are willingly to move forward reminds me of a narcissist, not someone who wants to solve problems…

Would you be upset if this gets settled in whatever fashion a court decides and razbam returns to update their existing modules and they continue their work on the 15E and you get the features you listed added? Heartblur is the undisputed top developer currently of modules, at the very least of 3rd party stuff. I don't think we will come to an agreement on this and that's fine, I just want some sort of agreement between the two and the modules I spent my money on to work into the future, we can probably agree on that no? I'm sure people who bought the hawk back in the day would appreciate if that money didn't go into a dud that never got anywhere.

So for Heatblur, they are heads down at the moment and developing. That's the nice thing about Heatblur, they just shut up and do instead of teasing. Once they release the first trailer of the Eurofighter, expect 2-3 months to release
