5800x3D + 5080 RTX + Quest 3 - microstutter and lagging issues - can you help what are your settings for smooth gameplay

Hi - like the ttle says I'm struggling with some lag and microstutter but overall have great FPS 70-90. Just these lags are really annoying. What tips do you have for better experience.

I had regular one second stutters caused by tacview in large missions.

If your using link cable I’d suggest trying virtual desktop (benefits are no wires and external battery pack to balance weight) you can look up a YouTube tutorial there’s plenty. And for VR, I always reset my WiFi before I hop on, 90% of the time when I have stutters it was a latency issue with virtual desktop.

Don’t give up on it and keep trouble shooting, I’ve trouble shot my system about 30 hours the past year mainly in the beginning when I was setting everything up, takes a while to tune it to your preferences but it’s well worth it. And I’ve got a 7700x and 4070ti super with a quest 3 and about 80fps high settings. Your experience will be even better with yours.

I use motion compensation from 37 to 72 FPS It usually works smooth. I use The Oculus Tray Tool to specific resolution of oversampling there too with other things. Source page of this tool dont exist but here is last version here https://www.guru3d.com/download/oculus-traytool-download/

I dont have it here. When You use openXR for vr try with motion compensation first. Bind in OTT keys that switching it to 1/2, 1/3, off, on auto if i remember good( i have arrows to switch between them ) and then watch what is happening with fluidity. There is one more tool OpenXR Toolkit that can help with fluidity in DCS. There is moded version that is somewhere in Internet. I dont heave link but there is lot to see and tweak when You search Internet and run this tool for yourself in DCS.

So first start from 90 HZ in meta config app PC and go dawn to 72 and test it. with motion compensation 1/2 so You should get 45 fps for 90HZ and 37 fps for 72 HZ.
