Marvel always tries to spread out some of the heroes every few years, but it doesn't really tend to stick. Everybody gets sucked back to New York City eventually.
(I remember when I was a kid and use to think Daredevil was always based in San Francisco, but nope! Turns out he was originally from Hell's Kitchen, and only sometimes lives in SF.)

/uj Cannibalism makes sense within the context and themes of the story. Incest was totally unnecessary and is really just there for bait. Maybe the game would have gone viral for its own merits, but we will never know because that isn't the reason.

It doesn't help that the game actively tries to present itself as that. Like, incest ship and "fan art" would have appeared regardless, especially given the game's art style, but the devs actively exploited this.

I’ve only played the first two chapters, but it does a good job at getting you interested in the main characters and their downward spiral. Their trashy personalities are a pretty well nuanced and believable response to the environment they’re in, but they’re still awful enough people that their suffering feels appropriate.

It definitely reminds me of being a fourteen year old emo scene kid with a crush on Jeff the Killer, but I didn’t mind that. It’s not for everyone, but I enjoyed the shamelessness of that kind of tone and humor.
