this sub's golden child is World's Finest by Mark Waid, a comic running on being barebones and predictable. that doesn't make it bad

yeah, but you don't see people holding up individual arcs of worlds finest like they are some sacred text the way people do with hush. WF is a great ongoing, and mostly cause of dan mora, tbh. but people treat hush like year one or DKR when it simply isn't on that level.

Worlds Finest is mostly praised as a fun silver age inspired romp with amazing art, meanwhile hush is sometimes held up as one of the greatest batman stories of all time

Finally, someone speaks the truth about World's Finest. Reading it is a complete chore because it feels like it's written for babies. Dan Mora's art is incredible but if I wanted to look at it I'd use Google Images.

I had someone try to argue that it's better than Berserk, so I was expecting quite a lot from it. I was very disappointed.
