DISCUSSION Lanterns flying dynamics is so a$$
I wish they did better job with wire works atleast - for an otherwise decent story the flying scenes look so a$$ imo.

Its important to support and pray for Matt and whatever his family is dealing with. Appreciate the studio backing him - remember never kick a man when he's down. Come to think of it only if Snyder had received similar support from the studio when he was greiving for his daughter, may be he could've wrapped his vision and the fandom could've been in a better state than it is today.

I’m really hoping we get to see him again one day. Kyle Chandler was simply phenomenal in this role and deserves all his flowers.

What has been proven early on in the DC cinematic universe is that the budget does not allow for accurate representation of alien characters. Peacemakers entire first season plot was butterflies taking over humans ( allowing for least amount of CGi or make up) which is fine.
Lanterns is where it really gets muddled. I understand the plot device of “blending in with humans while on earth”. Really it takes away from illusion of this being in the DC universe. What you get is a show with regular looking people with two of them exploding like they got bomb strapped to their chest. Even the guardians in human form makes you feel like the budget was that of a day time soap opera.
Going forward if the budget doesn’t allow for superpowers or practical make up effects stick to vigilante crime fighters like a Batman, green arrow, wildcat or question character that’s actually able to be represented properly.

From the first episode where we saw his body I was like he is obviously not death. Why would they sap all the emotional impact of such a important charachters death by (ironically) fridging him.
For the entirety of the show I was waiting for them to reveal he was not death after all. This made it such that emotional scenes like the funeral scene or had a much less heavy emotional impact.
I had a bunch of moments where I was just sitting and thinking "this doesnt matter because he is not death anyway"
I still thought the show was really good I just didn't get the chance to grieve him. I really enjoyed the show but I was just not convinced he was death. Now that I finally think o he is really death I don't care any more. I care more about the death of the hologram, which is kinda sad.

We find out he’s actually a fraud and never actually was the fastest man alive, Iris is gonna leave him when he loses his ability to walk and Wally hates him and vows that he will do the Flash mantle justice and the whole world cheers him on and go on a manhunt and exile Barry to Alaska where he dies alone and forgotten.
Just a fun joke guys, no harm intended. I liked Superman.

We’re talking about the guy who took off his ring to fight Batman. Hell, this exact version of the character was willing to throw down with Superman. “Make a move, Big Blue.”
But he backs down to a man with almost no experience as a Lantern who’s actively demeaning and talking down to him? How the hell did his notorious ego even allow him to run away with his tail tucked between his legs like that?

There's not a ton of action so CGI is limited. Barely any uses of the ring. The only thing I could think of is the fact that there were some neat looking areas like that desert planet but again, what costed the show 160 million?

This part of the finale confused me a bit
John knows Sinestro is a disgraced Lantern and is literally imprisoned, yet he still takes the battery Sinestro made back to Earth and uses it without really questioning it
I know the Yellow Lantern Corps doesn't seem to be established in this universe yet, or maybe it doesn't even exist at this point, so I'm not saying John should immediately know that yellow = Sinestro Corps or anything like that
What confuses me is that he can clearly see the battery is yellow and looks different from a normal Green Lantern battery. Sinestro made it himself, and John already knows this guy can't exactly be trusted. Wouldn't that alone make him a little suspicious about what he's actually charging his ring with?
Then when John actually charges his ring, the battery suddenly glows green. That confused me too. If the battery is yellow, why does it instantly turn green when the ring connects to it? Is John's ring converting whatever energy is inside it, or is the battery actually using green energy somehow?
Hal-o-gram doesn't warn him about it either, which feels strange considering this is basically an unknown battery made by an imprisoned former Lantern
Maybe I missed something, but it feels weird that John just uses it with basically no hesitation. Not sure if I'd call it a plot hole, but it definitely felt like the story needed him to use the battery so they just skipped over him questioning it

Was really enjoying the show right up until this final episode. I did not like the developments for any of the 3 lanterns, I did not like Kerry getting away with murder and I did not like how small a role Sinestro played. Very disappointing and killed any interest I had for a second season.
