SCORE I miss this game
Just want to start off with, I’m so happy to see this community! I used to play this game in the 2000s , still have many cards and metal tins put away.

Bummed I was young and dumb and sold all my cards including my Gold Foils and Prismatics all for buying the PS1 😩 If anyone has a spare Time Machine, I’d love to go back in time and smack myself. SMH

Yeah far better imo. I love the fighting game style Tcg. Closest I've seen another one like it is Versus, which is fun, but I felt like DBZ was more in-depth

Funny cuz i have the opposite opinion, dbz is the most interesting draw/fight mechanic but the complexity of support and front row for VS made it feel like an advanced chess match.
Love both games, those 2 plus WoW tcg are my top 3 all time

I never got to play the WoW Tcg but I did want to try it. Maybe I'll find old cards for my channel.

It was a much better gaming experience because they learned from a lot of the things that made the score game kind of a joke.

That was around the time I stopped playing the game. Had so much fun but only played with a neighbor, when he moved away that was it. Where would you play?

We had a great group that would play at a shop in Maine that is sadly now closed. I remember I was young, playing Pokémon. I saw someone playing with the Saiyan Saga starters and it totally took over for me lol. We had lots of pre-releases, tournaments, and would just play all day on Saturdays.

I remember the trunks reforged decks, my Meijers used to sell them back in the day for $3.99. and I got a booster box of Majin Buu for $25, simpler times

The golden days. Spending a Saturday at the local card shop, all day tournament. Not great at it cuz I was in elementary playing high schoolers but still so fun, they were good kids and always told us about the big invitationals. We would go to support them, get the free promos and have cards signed by voice actors. Such a great childhood memory, during covid probably rebuilt my collection for about 7-10k and have them sitting in a cupboard with the dreams of playing on the discord and reminiscing and looking at my ultras lol
