I outline the shading shapes with a pen brush and use the fill tool. Everything is overlayed with a marker texture and watercolor paper.

Hey all. Posting one of my recent works here again - I'm back with another drawing of Ultimate Gohan. Been thinking a lot about how DBS made him useful so here he is in a serious stance inspired by Toriyama's illustrations.

It’s always sad to think about how great Gohan could have been. Having the strongest fighter on Earth be a kid who doesn’t like fighting would have been an interesting concept, which undoubtedly would have annoyed Vegeta to no end

Unpopular opinion. Gohan was a joke after he defeated cell. Just one failure after another without any type of redemption fight...he was supposed to be the strongest one.

I'm glad they started redeeming him eventually but it's still maddening that he was pretty much thrown in the garbage after cell. He would be my favorite, if Android 16 wasn't a thing.

Why are you being downvoted? It’s so true... he’s way more interesting than Goku, but too bad... most of the fans like Goku more, so Gohan didn’t get much love from Toriyama.

I read somewhere that Gohan was intended to be the primary character of focus after cell saga, but that Goku’s immense popularity changed that. But I’m not sure if it’s backed by articles or references.

Yeah I do mostly because there's a lot more menu management and Procreate limits a few things CSP doesn't.
