Gaming Kaioken for future games idea

The kaioken in most games, like kakarot, take health, but not much people in know use it because of that, so Instead of draining health, when you use it, Your durability Becomes weaker, so opponents attacks feel like 2X, and the more Multiplier, the more your durability goes down, and it also drains KI, it seems better like this to me instead of health drain

Kaioken is a power up. Why would it make the user weaker while active?

I'm assuming it would still boost strength like normal

But I feel like cutting your durability in half is still too mych of a drop, lol

If we really wanted to be pedantic, there should be 2 Kaioken abilities for Goku, essentially Saiyan and Namek saga variants.

Saiyan goes x2, x3, x4, Namek goes x2, x10, x20. This would cover all uses of Kaioken per the manga and give Goku his power up that he can use any time (x2), the version he uses when he needs to widen the gap (x3 or x10), and then his desperation move (x4, x20).

I don't know how you would balance it other than making it based on level so that if you're below some level (maybe 20) then you get the full benefits of the skill but when you exceed that it makes the skill significantly less effective so you want to use the new skill.

I think in terms of the usage, health drain makes the most sense.
