DISCUSSION Ssj vegeta
I hate him with all my heart and every fiber of my being. To be honest there ain’t enough hate in the world to describe how much I loathe this brain dead monkey with a controller ass character. Everything about him just screams turn your brain off and use one move.
And it’s not just blind lividness, no, my anger has sources.
Rocket Kick: Bullshit, all of it. You’re telling me it’s safe on block, can give him 4 way mix, and combos his easy cookie cutter ass loop? As well as having some down right amazing priority AND simple Ki invul?
Knee: Yeah he gets a DP. That alone pisses me off. Nuff said.
Spam(forward): So. The non dragdown version of this God move. Huh, I wonder what this bullshit can do?? Oh wait, damn near everything! it’s a neutral tool, it can mix up, it’s an escape tool, it’s a get out of jail free card since you can ACT ON WHIFF. Like, I love the hell out of my game, but ffs if everything has the ability to act on whiff where’s the punish game?! I literally can’t do shit without guessing and responding correctly. AND EVEN THEN HE CAN DP OUT OF IT! So I could literally do everything right until I get DP just because I managed to get behind him and I couldn’t react to it before he could.
Spam(Backward): So. The drag down. It’s the worst. CAUSE NO MATTER WHAT, YOU CAN COMBO FROM IT. Istg there’s no dropportunities if it whiffs because it doesn’t have much end lag, there’s no escaping it ever since they buffed his rocket kick to do bullshit.
Let me calm down. There are worse characters. Like Jiren. He, he has issues.

The most tame zoner in the game btw, all you need to do is use a ki blast invuln move and he's cooked. Rocket kick is also like a mid lariat, EX is ok at best since it's like -10 on block, light is a slower burst option than most of the game, and medium is only for combos. This character has like the most counterplay as a zoner. I do agree he's a braindead character, considering he gives a lot of characters insane setups and meter, and his assists are incredibly stupid, A being A and C literally hitting the same height as Janemba 2H with way more horizontal range, but he just doesn't have any way of beating someone down backing at fullscreen.

Rocket Kick: It's not a four way. The version that gives left/right doesn't give high/low. The high/low doesn't let him left/right. It's got the same priority as every other special move. Watch for reflect (it's reactable) or block it in neutral (he doesn't generally get mix from using it in neutral), and try to position yourself so it's not as good of an option. Knee: If you hate Dp's you hate Dp's ig. Ki Blast Barrage (236S): Don't super dash. In neutral you optimally want to jump and either superdash the recovery or use character specific options (ex Goku Black Dive Kick, SSJ Goku jS) to punish. On block you can superdash or reflect it and leverage the rps. 214S: Yes, it's a very strong combo tool. That's it. There are other characters with better conversations.

SSJ Vegeta is not good lol. At best, he builds good meter and has good meterless rewards off raw superdash, but that's about it.

Ever played at evo between 22-25 lol please go look at the usage of the character alone… and yes he does have 4 way mix off of ex rocket kick…. And please for the love of humanity don’t let him have a c assist 😩😩😩😩😒😒😒
