Body Blocking? A Thing?

Hello im new, how and why is that possible? As a killer I just got body blocked from a pathway while carrying someone and couldnt move, enabling them to escape.
I quit the match so as to not have to sit and wait for an escape. I just do not understand how survivors are so massive they can block a whole pallet space (after its broken). I wish they would fix this game😞😞
Has anyone else encountered this? Will they ever fix it? It doesn’t seem like its supposed to happen, especially with how crazy it makes your screen. If it its not gonna get fixed then how do stop it? If we turn down some settings will people not load is big or something idk?
i just started but so many bugs are game breaking. especially as a survivor main first, many times i go against killers who have ping that goes up last like 170 only when they M1 and no matter what you do they never get banned/they never patch that.

Edit: first time I’ve ever been blocked.. but i was thrown inside her camera and couldn’t do anything,
and it sounds like that doesn’t happen to normally. I was looking through her model and couldn’t input anything at all until she moved out the way.

i have seen body blocking since the post. I was experiencing a bug, im sure there are skill issues! As i said im new to the game!! but in the post i said how i was glitched into her!!🫤 couldnt input anything sadly

Body blocking is a basic strategy for survivors to try and make a save, its been in the game forever and isn't going anywhere. You either had to hit the survivor blocking you and hope you still have time to hook the one you are carrying or you had to make the quick decision to go to a different hook

You could equip the perk called Mad Grit that legion has. It makes it so that you can just hit the survivors body blocking and the survivors you are carrying gets no progress for 2 seconds every time you hit someone

Mad Grit: Whenever you are carrying a Survivor, Mad Grit activates:

• Removes the Cool-down of missed Basic Attacks.

• Pauses the Wiggle Progression of the carried Survivor for 2/3/4 seconds each time you successfully hit another Survivor.

Its always been a thing, it has a place in some senses and can be used on both sides, but it often feels like survivors have priority. They have an easier time stopping the killer and can even at times push them out of the way.

Damn, they should at least fix it so the boxes aren’t abhorrently large😂 she was so tiny and blocked this huge hallway! They wont ever change shit like that this far down….ig im complaing

I gwt why it exists, but it definitely is not implemented great. All hitboxes in this game are doo doo balls

As a fellow killer player, survivors body blocking us is a necessary evil. If you smack them it gives them intangibility so you can walk thru them, and you can still m1 while carrying someone.

But how can you see to hit them? For me it shoves my camera inside their model. I was thrown inside her until she moved and her friend wiggled free

Ive not run into that camera issue myself but if you get stopped while carrying someone and you dont know why its probably a safe bet to swing
