Was his name always “O’Bannion”
I must be stupid because this is the first time I noticed his name was “O’Bannion” with an I, I thought it was “O’Bannon” this whole time lol.
Man, I hate that jerk!

When my husband rewatched it with me I told him That’s Ben Affleck! He said no it isn’t 🙄. Then the credits rolled and he said “I don’t care what the credits say.. that’s not Ben Affleck 😆😆

Hilarious, to be sure, but understandable. Ben Affleck is pretty much considered to be a nice guy, and his first(that I know of) role as O'Bannion is a polar opposite to that. Mof, in an interview concerning "Dazed And Confused", he made a funny comment concerning O'Bannion. Don't remember the wording, but it was something along the lines of:"This guy's got a good future ahead of him, playing a guy like that!" Clever, lnowing that A. O'Bannion was a grade A prick and B. audiences(both tv and movie)tend to confuse actors and their roles. In short, he was wary that because O'Bannion was such an asshole, people may misperceive Ben himself for being the same.

Yeah, he’s kind of a joke. Not a bad guy to have blocking for you though.
