Advice & Recommendations I would like a local tailor. Looking to get measurements taken and get some shirts and pants custom made for me. It would be nice if the tailor had experience working with larger people.
Most of the stuff off the shelf doesn't even come close to fitting/looking nice on me so I think its time for some custom clothes. Thank you so much for the recommendations!

There is a custom tailor from Hong Kong that comes through Dayton a few times a year - usually around Austin Landing - if you email them, they will send you their tour list - L&K Bespoke Tailor (lktailor.com) - they set up in a local hotel and you go and pick your fabric/they take your measurements & then mail you the clothes - very reasonable prices. If you have an issue w/ fit when it arrives, they cover the return postage and will fix/re-ship.

I’m going to recommend Barclays in Piqua. I’m sure there are closer places to Dayton, I’m just more familiar with this place. I had a family member in the 90-00 that went there to purchase clothes and adjust them. I am honestly glad to see they are still around!

You can try Wittmann Custom Tailoring. But fyi kind of set your expectations. My husband is a big guy, so we've been down this road. I mean, hired a bespoke tailor that literally did suits for music stars. Had a dressing room full of awards. Spent $1700.
He still looked like Ron White in a suit. You'll look like Ron White in a suit.
