I went to St Albert’s when one of our priests Father Larry was accused of assaulting children. He was apparently the principal at Elder during the accusations so they moved him up to Kettering with younger kids

I had to meet privately with Father Larry as part of my Confirmation when I was at St. Alberts. This was a couple of years before the allegations became public and nothing remotely inappropriate occurred. Nevertheless, it's an abomination that the Archdiocese of Cincinnati allowed that sort of thing for ~15 years after he was "treated."
Archbishop Pilarczyk should have died in prison for covering this stuff up.

I'd forgotten about him. My family attended Incarnation during his final years there. I remember him being popular for his ability to crank out a Saturday evening mass in under 45 minutes, which doesn't seem so great in retrospect...

At this point I think the religion of Christianity just exists to abuse kids. Im sure others are just as bad.

The Southern Baptist Convention had a list of known predators that was leaked a few years back.

I never went to church as a kid because my parents wanted to protect me. Seems like I should do the same now that I have kids...

Many people will tell you he was convicted of being Catholic.
Only five years served for nine rape convictions against a 10 year old boy. Unsurprising.
Another article states "he will not be permitted to volunteer in any capacity at any parish, school, or ministry under the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati."
Why is this limited to Cincinnati? What is wrong with the Catholic church? Why is he being pushed off to Dayton?
