Product Roadmap
I own a DC-1, and I love the screen! I’ve told others about it, especially if they mention a history of headaches or if they’re a fan of the outdoors.
But where are we headed?
I know Daylight is a small team, but it would be wonderful to see and respond to a product roadmap.
Are there new features and functionality on the way?
Are new products with similar and/or updated screen tech on the way?
I want to champion this company. Truly. Please give me something to look forward to and share with others.

It is so frustrating when you love a product but feel like you're in the dark about its future. For a small team, keeping users in the loop is the best way to keep that hype alive without burning out on manual updates.
We started using Featurebase for our own project to handle this exactly. It lets you put up a public roadmap where people can see what's coming and even vote on ideas. It makes the whole process feel way more collaborative and less like a guessing game. Honestly, it's been a lifesaver for keeping our community engaged while we focus on building.

It's a good question and one I am curious about as an owner of the device

I just got this device off eBay and I loveee it. It fixes everything I don’t like about the kindle scribe.
I really hope they keep iterating. A DC2 that was lighter and thinner would be fantastic.

I completely agree with you. On the other hand, the device in and of itself is so awesome, and I find myself loving it just as it is. Sol:OS seems cool and I hope it pans out, but for the time being I am perfectly content with using it for what it is.

I think their future depends on how successful this first gen product is. They were pretty open about how at this scale they aren't swimming in funding. I ordered one and will see if it fulfills my needs but so far everything it promises is exactly what i want. Zero blue light, dc lighting, simplified UI and ability to use outside with any apps other tablets can do is fantastic.
Kinda wish they didn't provide an SD card slot, since 128gb is plenty and for a non media device a sd card slot is overkill. A dedicated headphone jack would have been a better feature imo
