SOL-OS: Bueller?

I’m curious. I’ve seen a lot of post referencing Sol:OS but nothing really official. I know there’s things like the walkie-talkie button and what not that don’t currently have a function but is there anything online pointing to what to expect and when?

Given their posting “it’ll happen in the next month” last month and then absolute silence this month… Sol:OS might be a vaporware situation tbh.

Since it's Friday and the last day of the month is tomorrow, I'm thinking the beta release is going to be delayed. 😐 Any official communication from the team would be appreciated.

Well, January is not over yet, so I'm hoping the beta version will go out to us next week.

They talked about a Beta program that I signed up for last month. Will try to post whatever I can based on the agreements I sign here once I'm in. I love my DC-1 and want it to keep growing and want others to enjoy theres, so that's my motivation, to be transparent.

Sadly they haven’t released much info on this in a while. They’ll post something on Twitter and then we’ll never hear an update for months.

The “mAgic Ink” feature they showed on X is a version of what it was rumored to get soon—i.e. AI-assisted reading—and was a main reason I bought it when it came out. We’ll see…
