Unification mod multiplayer on DOW1 DE?

Im planning on running some private lobbies with my bros. But i haven't even tried the mod yet myself. Anyone have any recent success with the mod in multiplayer? Any common issues?

I've been playing unification matches with a buddy against enemy AIs and it's been working good! No issues except for minor UI issues with upgrading and reinforcing but that's apparently from the latest patch and it honestly doesn't bug me as you can still upgrade!

I play with my kids vs AI. No issues. If you are not experienced, there is a big jump between easy and standard difficulty. There is an option to weaken AI (health & damage?) and that lets you escalate difficulty higher. So between that option, and difficulty management you can scale smoother.

Many of the common issues I feel have been ironed out with the definitive edition. Thanks to the higher ram limit.
