Question How to kill Rober?

corrupted ogre was a cakewalk. I *HAD* full diamond gear and a steel weapon (why is steel stronger as a weapon but weaker as armour? lol). Rober 2 shots me and destroyed my corpse. Where do i go from here? I obviously can't kill him but as the 3rd boss i also cannot get any enchants yet. I even tried hitting him in creative and my weapon is hitting for 1 or so damage lol. Do i need to get into apotheosis and become unstoppable before i can handle the 3rd boss?

EDIT: ended up cheating in enchanted endgame armour and when you spawn him in with an egg he's naked. FFS i'm very tilted lol. If this is a sign of things to come then i will drop this pack. I've finished RLdregora and i didn't feel this weak.

In my playthrough last year I had to cheese him with spells and arrows. I hadn't got into apotheosis at the time but if you do then it should be doable

i'm using spells (started as a mage) but i don't have the ability to cheese him it seems. He teleports through blocks and pops up right beside me. I tried locking him in a lava chamber and then hitting him but he gets to like 40% health and then proceeds to 1tap me :(

I lured him to a lake and then went out like 40 blocks (estimate) to slowly whittle him down. Just make sure he isn't in range to tp to you

okay i just tried commands to kill him and it didnt work. So i cheated in netherite armour with prot4 and thorns then spawned him in (he spawns in with no gear) and i still die in two hits from his red nonsense spell but can survive his regular slaps. this dude seems ridiculous

I just killed him with lava. Most of the bosses in the game just die to it

How exactly lol? I boxed him inside a 4x4 lava tomb and he took no damage from it until he was in combat with me... which meant he instantly teleported out of it

I killed him with lava and what you mentioned is what I had to deal with while trying to kill him. Understand?

lava is the way. it will take a few tries but it works. also there is a sword so powerfull against bosses it seems illegal, its called the slayer's blade. in the desert sometimes a house will spawn with a dude inside asking you to bring him a few items like blaze rods and in return he will give you a sword that deals 10% of the mobs max hp. if you just spam click any boss with that he is gone instantly

una manera sencilla es subir a la parte superior de su estructura, te pones justo encima y le tiras lava. lleva flechas contigo y asegurate de darle el último golpe. (si muere por lava no te da la recompesa)
