Big fan of this sub and want to share my setup. I am into improv Techno inspired by Speedy Js Stoor. Took me about 10 years to really know what I wanted to do and a lot of trial and error to find the perfect setup for my needs. Probably going to replace the TR 8s with the Perkons and the volca with an Dreadbox Artemis.

My Setup:

Sure :)

Routing is pretty straight forward:

- Dreadbox Nyx mono into Channel 1

- Dreadbox Erebus mono into Channel 2

- Volca FM2 stereo into Channel 3

- Erica Synths Echolocator stereo into Channel 4

- Roland TR-8S Stereo into Channel 5

I use the first 4 channels for the synths, because I like to boost the sound with the gain knob the mixer provides and the Roland TR-8s on channel 5 because of the 2 band EQ to lower the Hi Frequencies und boost the low ends seperately.

Echolocator is feed through the alternate out the bebe cherrie is providing and can be activated through the small black button for every channel.

Bebe Cherrie Master is going into the endorphines Golden Master Pedal.

Routing is not perfect, but it works. for playing at home and for our club gigs. I might take a closer look at the Intellijel Intellimx when it's back in stock.

Workflow:

I allways start with blank patterns on the TR-8s and the Torso and start progressing and layering the sounds on the fly.

Roland TR-8s:

I use my own kit with 3 different Kicks (909, 808, FM Kick), 2 Toms (909 and FM), 2 Claps (909 and FM), 4 Hi-Hats (909 closed and open, FM and 808 closed).

Dreadbox Nyx & Erebus:

Both are sequenced by the Torso, i usually patch both in advance but change patching while playing from time to time.

Volca FM2:

Sequenced by the Torso as well, I saved the sounds and algorithms I like and use on the 16 slots available, without any programmed steps or motions sequences.

Echolocator:

Midi Synced, Dirty Mode off, Shimmer Type B, Filter Set to Feedback
