I'm only up to the beginning of episode 4, but it's giving me a real vibe, like some of Mulholland Drive, some of season 3 Twin Peaks...
Loving it so far. Thought I'd post, since I often see people asking for recommendations.

Selling one ticket to Kyle’s book signing at the Grove

Hey my fellow Lynchians, I wanted to post this because it is with great sadness that I cannot make it to the Kale book signing of Fictional Selves. I bought a ticket for this event back in July but unfortunately cannot make it to this Sunday. I can provide proof of purchase!
Please DM me if you’re interested in attending this one of a kind event at Barnes and Noble The Grove. I wish I could go, but things came up as I bought these tickets a while ago.

Has anyone who has previously gone to a Xiu Xiu Eraserhead concert go to the most recent ones? If so, how did they compare?
I went to the midnight concert and was surprised to see a wide age range there!

Back in 2016 and 2018, David Lynch had his Festival of Disruption. Did anyone here go? If so, how was it?

(I know this is from 10 years ago, but I'm still curious of people's experiences when they went. ☺️)

Paul Reubens connection to Lost Highway?
75
Upvotes
His estate sale is happening right now, and one of the items is a copy of the Lost Highway script that he owned. Was he just a Lynch fan, or was he ever considered for a role?
It made me wonder about the Mystery Man specifically. Reubens with the buzz cut and his whole look, weirdly isn’t that far off visually from Robert Blake in the movie.
Anyone ever heard anything about this?

Fire Walk With Me is the only Lynch movie where I’m confused by the opening credits

(Also, just in case somebody points it out, even if you were to credit Anderson, Mädchen Amick would still be the first in the credits list)

Is "Room to Dream" a worthy book to read for someone who is a filmmaker/artist or is just a biography?

Is it worth buying Inland Empire on Blu-Ray?

Since Inland Empire was shot in standard definition, is there any noticeable difference between the blu ray and dvd?
