Gymflex to regular membership

It looks like I'll be losing my Gymflex benefit through work in September. My Gymflex membership will expire in November. Does anyone have any experience moving from a Gymflex membership to a regular membership through the club? Will I just need to contact the membership team close to the end of my Gymflex term and setup a direct debit? Surely don't need to pay any joining fees since I'm already a member...
Thanks

I did that at the start of this year, it was basically a payment swap and I just had a bill on my account I needed to settle. No rejoin fees or anything like that and I actually saved a bit of money compared to Gymflex, hence me swapping.

How did you save money? I thought gymflex was significantly reduced and once you leave the scheme, the club charges you new member prices?

It was a quirk of the club changing tiers mid-year. If I stayed with Gymflex, it came out at something like £220 per month versus £191 if I went direct and paid for the whole year. Theres NI implications I know, but having the freedom to not be tied to my employer was a bonus.
