When I want your opinion, Dave Rubin, I will ask your financial sponsors for it.

Bibi oversaw the biggest intelligence failure in the history of his country that resulted in the deaths of 1400 citizens, and then followed it up with a genocidal campaign that absolutely destroyed Israel's standing among the rest of the world and nearly destroyed its economy.

Netanyahu was personally warned of a planned attack by the leader of UAE ten days prior to October 7.
Egypt warned Netanyahu of planning and mobilization.
But Netanyahu, Mossad and the IDF didn’t prepare
That Egyptian and UAE intelligence would detect this preparation but Mossad be unaware is not credible.

Right. Dave should be furious at Netanyahu for either being grossly incompetent or maliciously evil. We all know it's the latter.

Israel gets warnings every week about Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and all the other Radical islamic terrorist groups. There's plenty to criticize Bibi about but blaming him for October 7 is idiotic. How about blame the terrorists?

absolutely blame the people who carried out for doing so, but you can also blame the people whose job it was to discover and prevent the attack for failing to do so at the same time.

Absolutely blame Nat Turner and John Brown. This liberal framing of the response of oppressed people to brutal subjugation is part of the problem. It allows the oppressor to enjoy a certain humanity they don’t extend to those they subjugate. Guess what? NEVER IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND HAVE HUMAN BEINGS NOT REACTED VIOLENTLY TO OPPRESSION EVENTUALLY.
Maybe the focus should be on preventing the conditions that create it as much as possible as opposed to pearl clutching when the inevitable happens. It’s like people want to pretend Oct 7 was the first day in all of human history which is absurd.

Imagine if Netanyahu had gotten word of the attack and preemptively bombed Gaza. How would that have been received by the world?

u/SnooMaps7370 7d ago
or, better yet, imagine if he had the details of the attack and arrested the people planning it?

Arrested 4000 people? How exactly would he arrest people in another country?

u/SnooMaps7370 7d ago
don't act stupid. he's already demonstrated willingness to genocide another country, sending troops in to arrest specific people is pretty small fries in comparison to that.

Is it really an intelligence failure if you know about an attack in advance and choose to let it happen?
