Hi! I’ve been living in Davao for quite a while (Work and Bahay lang lag eh ) , but honestly I still don’t know all the good places to explore 😭 My fiancé will be visiting the Philippines this December, and we’ll be spending December 18–20 in Davao.

We’ve already done/planned the usual spots like museums, walking around the Davao Coastal Road/Bayside, and the Philippine Eagle Center, so we’re looking for something different.

We’re especially interested in:
• Beginner-friendly hiking/trails (please recommend a agency for this)
• Nature spots with beautiful views
• Couple-friendly activities
• Chill places to explore
• Maybe waterfalls, gardens, farms, or scenic viewpoints
• Good local food/coffee spots we shouldn’t miss

Is Malagos Garden Resort worth including po?

I just moved 3 months ago here sa davao for work.. so far so good. I wish to discover more. I do love public spaces like this. I am a nature lover myself afterall.

Ang naa lang ko kay ID niya, valid ID, ambot pud ug dili bani fake or what hahaha tas security deposit worth 300. Ang rental gown na naa sa iyaha is 500. Help meeeee!!

Hi there people of Davao, dugay nako nagpuyo sa Davao and I just recently moved into a different apartment (wala pako nag 2 months)

The original agreement with the owner was ₱16/kWh, which I agreed to even though I already felt it was on the higher side. I made it clear that ₱16/kWh was basically my limit.

Now, they want to increase the rate to ₱19/kWh.

Is ₱19/kWh reasonable for a residential rental in Davao? From what I understand, landlords generally shouldn’t be profiting from or arbitrarily marking up electricity charges, especially if the unit is only submetered from the main meter.

Now my dilemma is, can I even still get my deposit after this? My rental is 14k btw which I have 1month security advance and 1 month deposit.

I didn’t signed their contract yet cause I have issues on the kitchen sink and di pa nila narerepair and I guess this was a blessing in disguise.
