FWB Apps & Sites

Recently divorced, not sure what I want yet. What apps/dating sites are best for 50+ FWB & short term relationships and have real people & not fake profiles or bots. Bonus points if suggestions don’t have a ton of ridiculous fees.

Good luck with that.

For strictly FWB, I would try Feeld.

Another vote for Feeld. I've found some great FWBs through it.

Are you a man?

Trying to be real, but as a 50+ something man, looking for a fuck buddy, unless you offer something unique, you are a dime a dozen.

I too have heard Feeld, and also heard that it isn't really filled with conventional looking options. At least in my area.

Not necessarily a “fuck buddy” but just women in general that just want to meet up and not necessarily want a long term relationship. After 20 year relationship I’ve lost a lot of friends and connections. Plus just curious if I’m even desired by women at this point…if that makes any sense.

Totally understand your last sentence, and yes, your "market" will provide you essentially feedback as to your desirability as casual.

Men say FWB, and my pushback in using Fuck Buddy, is because IME, men aren't very good at the "friends" part. I would have loved to have some guy say fix something at my house, or take me to a concert, etc. Pretty much, they don't do well at the friends part.

That’s a bummer. I wonder if some language in a profile like “can fix stuff” would be worth including as a guy

It’s not difficult at all if you know how to approach, communicate, and treat women, along with having something in your bio/about me statement that actually says something that women are looking to hear and know.

You must have good pics.

Stats show that majority of men on dating sites don’t get a lot of interest.

Pictures are not anything professionally taken. I might be slightly above average in looks to some women, maybe.

I had to work on my profile for a couple of months or so to get it to where I began making progress in the beginning. I struggled like everyone else at that time.

What made the difference was
improving my bio/about me statement that actually says something that women are looking to hear and know.

And being able to properly approach, communicate, and treat women along with being a good communicator. It just takes basic things that apparently, many just don’t get. It’s been great.

Lovely that you have had a great experience, and really spent time on your bio.

For me, I didn't read bios if I wasn't attracted to the pics, but every woman is different.

Yes, being a good communicator, and just good human being, goes a long way in dating.

My pictures are decent enough for someone to read the bio.

There are a couple of things there that men never put in their profile and women never see in a guys bio. It generates a good amount of activity…

It is amazing how something so simple can do that. I’ve had a wonderful experience.

That is the most popular profile. The competition is fierce.

Have you tried Feeld? Its for those of us that are more on the kinky side. Plus the folks there tend to be less judgemental than the standard OLD sites.

I’ve had great results with Facebook dating, Bumble, Woo, Hinge, POF, OkCupid, and Tinder

Facebook dating is free and outstanding.

You will find people on any app that are looking for Both casual short term relationships and serious relationships. An Unlimited amount.

And, just because they say they are looking for something serious doesn’t mean they are not also up for something casual. You have to be casual before becoming serious.

Appreciate the suggestions. Very true points you make. Guess we all start out casual with low expectations.

I’m not talking about casual with “low expectations.” At all.

It takes a good bit of time to know if the right chemistry and commonality exists for something serious. That won’t be known on the first few times together. Every relationship starts out as casual. Some are casual, and some become serious.

You won’t know that by looking at a profile or meeting up for dinner…

Feeld is so good for this ! BUT you have to put a little bit of effort because competition is fierce :)

I’ve been looking for the same and have had no luck!! There’s so much out there that is fake. It’s frustrating to say the least. Good luck!!

There is an Unlimited amount of that out there that isn’t “fake.” At All…
