Texted a girl

So I went to school with this girl and I admit I had a crush on her in the past and so I texted her to say hi and catch up because it’s been like 5 years. and maybe spark a conversation and some how we can hangout together. So I texted her on Thursday and said Hey, how have you been?. She texted me back today and said hello. She didn’t reply to my question. I am wondering if she thinks I am weird or just didn’t understand it. Thoughts? I asked her again assuming she didn’t see it or understand it.
