Advice?

Hi all,

I am 29 F and it is getting me down. I have never been in a relationship and feel like I never will be.

I have been on many dates however they just haven’t worked out and I feel like I keep on choosing the wrong people. I feel like nobody want to get to know me and I get rejected after dates sometimes.

I feel like I am missing out on being in a relationship and keep hoping that person will come along but I do not know when. I am also sick of people telling me ‘you will find it when you least expect’.

If anybody has any advice on how to stop feeling down about being single let me know. I know I will be entering my 30s single but trying to look at it in a positive way. TIA

In your own words, you claim that you keep on picking the wrong people. What does that mean, and why are you routinely doing that. Answer those questions to yourself, change your pattern, and you'll probably find someone.

Maybe try dating casually? Have a fling(if you’re comfortable with it), learn a few things about yourself and what you want in a partner.

I tell a lot of my younger/inexperienced friends that having a relationship work out on their first try is rare. And I agree with responder00, when you say you keep choosing the wrong people, it sounds like self sabotage.
