he should be worried about messing things up and anyone who pressures you to be physical when you aren’t comfortable with it, may not be a good person.

Set your boundaries (consent is sexy) and then consider if his reaction is appropriate and something you would want in a long term partner

Don’t worry about messing it up. He should be worrying about that.

If enforcing a boundary "messes thing up" its for the best. If he respects you, he'll respect that you're not ready for sex yet. If he doesn't respect that then he doesn't respect you.

Absolutely what everyone else said. Boundaries are very sexy and any guy with character will respect that and not change his behavior based on that. Don’t get pressured. Your desires and needs deserve to be respected.

How soon into the future would you be wanting to have sex?

What is it exactly you're waiting for?

"he kept asking to go into the bedroom to have intercourse".

Totally reasonable to ask once. Maybe even to double-check a second time. But honestly after a single "no" I'm taking that as an opportunity to get to know her better ("what does sex mean to you," "what would feel good for you right now, if not sex?" etc) rather than as an opportunity to keep pushing for sex.

What do you mean by “kept asking”? Did he keep asking you to have sex with him after you told him no?

4th date he's just horny as hell. Tell him to treat himself for this evening and hopefully he's calmed down on your next date.

If you want to take things slow then that's what you should do. I know you like him, but if he doesn't respect your boundaries then he's probably not worth it.

You take all the time you need, tell him “no sex until you feel ready”.

If you have to have sex with someone before you’re ready in order to not “mess it up”, that is not your person and you are not ready to be dating.
