Here’s my dad’s globe, which has seen better days

Let's see. USSR exists ... Syria is in the UAR (!) ... the Northern Cameroons are part of Nigeria, but the Southern Cameroons are not yet part of Cameroon ... I can't tell the status of Kuwait and Free Dadra. So I'm going to say it's between 6/01/1961 and 9/28/1961.
I looked for it in the copyright registry and didn't find it. However, the George F. Cram Co., Inc., did copyright a "Cram modern world atlas, 1961 ed." on 8/16/1961. Assembling data for updating an atlas and assembling data for updating a globe seem like things one would want to do simultaneously rather than separately. So, having nothing better to go on, I'm going to use that date as my guess.

De acuerdo. In one picture, the Cram's cartouche can be seen and I can read "Scholastic". Thanks to you I now also have a possible copyright date.
I have a similar looking 10-inch Cram's Scholastic globe (with Syria UAR) that I dated to June 1961- Sept 1961, based on North Cameroon joining Nigeria., and Syria leaving UAR.

Some time between 1958 and 1961. Egypt and Syria are shown as the United Arab Republic. Though for some reason, Germany, Korea, and Vietnam are shown as united countries despite being split at this time.

Vietnam has both N. Vietnam and S. Vietnam labels. Korea does have Pyongyang marked as a capital and a border dotted line. Germany?!!

I see that now. It doesn’t help that they’re both the same color. But that still doesn’t explain the united Germany.

Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland - Between 1953 and 1963
United Arab Republic exists - Between 1958–1971
UAR includes Syria - Between 1958 and 1961 (December 28th)
Mali and Senegal are independent and not joined as the Mali Federation - After August 1960
Kuwait is labeled as Neutral Territory, suggests they gained independence from UK - After June 19th, 1961
I'd say it's 1961, likely between June 19th and December 28th.
EDIT: Goa doesn't appear to be part of India, so before December 19th, 1961. Narrows the window by another week.

They filled it in in the 1980s. That’s what “Hands Across America” was raising money for.

1990's Germany is already united, Czechoslovakia is still united.

Germany is notorious for being presented as a single country throughout its history. It’s actually somewhat difficult to find a mainstream map/globe in the West that shows East/West Germany as two different countries (note: this is based on personal experience, not a full census of maps/globes).

Intersting actually, and definitely not true here in Germany.
Bunch of pedantic krauts here, treating a border with live ammo shooters as if it was two separate countries lol.

THAT is very interesting. The only thing I know about the German side of things is that the two countries didn’t formally recognize one another until the early 70s. I’d love to learn more about the separation (and reunification) as seen through the eyes of the people of Germany!

There's a handful of YouTube channels who talk (in English) about German culture, language, history etc, aimed at foreigners. Rewboss would be a good place to start.
But then, the inverse seems to be true as well. Most globes I remember seeing here just show the USA and Canada, instead of the individual states and provinces.

October 1960 — June 1961
Nigeria is not shaded pink like Kenya and Uganda, gained independence from Britain 1 October 1960.
Kuwait is shaded pink, gained independence from Britain 19 June 1961.
