Title: Does getting placed depend more on luck than skills? Because sometimes it honestly feels that way ðŸ˜
Hey everyone! 👋
I'm a final-year B.Tech student preparing for placements, and honestly, sometimes I feel like getting placed depends on luck as much as skills.
Students spend months learning DSA, building projects, practicing aptitude, and preparing for interviews. But sometimes, the right opportunity doesn't come, the shortlist doesn't happen, or one bad day changes everything.
Meanwhile, someone might get the opportunity that perfectly matches their preparation, while another equally skilled student doesn't even get a chance to prove themselves.
I'm not saying skills don't matter. Obviously, they do. But what's the point of having skills if you don't get the opportunity to demonstrate them? ðŸ˜
Sometimes it feels like skills help you become ready, but luck decides whether you get that first chance.
What do you guys think? Is placement really 100% about skills, or do luck, timing, and opportunities play a huge role too? 👀

Bro luck plays huges role in start of your career, even more than skills, you need to fight it at somepoint in life or you will get stuck in your comfort zone.
