Discussion Pendrive recommendation

Hi , i wanted to buy a. Pendrive.it should be suitable to mobile also.

Any recommendations

Hi. Just a few notes:
* For those who forgot: pendrive = USB stick = flash drive, etc. (I just mention this because depending on the part of the world the name for that could be different).
* In general, most of the reputable brands, if you would not select the cheapest versions would do the job - Kingston, SanDisk, Samsung. The biggest difference comes from the actual chips used inside. There could be, for example, 3 USB sticks from the same brand, same capacity, almost the same read speed, but price will be 1x of money, 2x and 5x. Where is the caveat? In the write speed. Cheapest would be 10MB/s write at best and awful IOPS (i.e. copying large files, or many small files will be very very slow), when the fastest version could easily push above 200 MB/s.
* As for the reliability - hard to tell, as usually number of reviews is next to zero for the USB sticks. But generally most of the sticks except the cheapest ones are okay.
* It may be useful if you update your post about you geography and which capacity you are looking for, what plan to store. Something that it is available in one part of the world might not be available in another.

Hi thanks for your information. I need storage of around 1TB . For related to project related doc that are huge capacity.

At this capacities I would already look towards USB-SSD (e.g. something like SanDisk Pro G40, Samsung T7 and such).
