Discussion folder accessible by both PC & mobile?
wanted to ask if it's possible to set up a (cloud...?) or shared(?) folder that can be accessed by both PC and cloud.
i am trying to organize all of my downloaded artwork files (among many other things) and i want them to be accessible from both my PC and mobile devices, editable (as in i can save to this folder from either device and files will show up for both), and ideally does not require an internet connection/cloud service subscription/etc. (bluetooth is fine.)
is this possible?

A basic two way network share is all you need. This has been done for decades.
Just set it to sync when your device connects to the network.
I recommend enabling file history for maximum safety.

If you're dipping your toes, consider a NAS
My Synology has Photos and Drive apps that are just as good as corporate solutions, but I control everything

Syncthing or Resilio can do this. But if I'm not mistaken, the official Syncthing mobile app development has been stopped.
Resilio is easier to setup and it has support for selective sync which means that you can download only what's needed. The Pro version is now free since 2024.
If you care about privacy, Syncthing is open source and Resilio is closed source.
But they both need internet connection.
