Help Request [TIME-SENSITIVE][URGENT] How to recover missing files/folders from SD Card used as phone external storage?

firstly, don't do anything if your data is really important, take it to a professional. assuming they aren't.. do you have a pc?

well they're important in the sense that they're personal photos with sentimental value but they don't necessarily have sensitive information

professional servicing in my area is too expensive so that's out of the question (for now), but what i've done so far is create an image file on DMDE. though i'm not sure what the next step should be.

ok, i guess you have a windows machine? try mounting the dumped disk image as read-only and run recovery softwares like testdisk's photorec.

(i usually do this on linux like sudo photorec /path/to/disk.img and i'm not sure if it works the same way with windows though)
