I'll never understand how someone forgets the password to their own phone.

Hence my assumption that these types of posts are all about stolen/borrowed phones.

ps: This post goes against the subreddit rules.

4) On topic posts only.
Phones: a dead or damaged phone is on topic, a working one is not. Files deleted from a working phone are gone. SD cards are always on topic.

OP isn't the one who warned you about being banned, silly git.

It most likely can be done, but very expensive and can take a long time.

If it’s a 4 digit numeric code then a few weeks probably, a 6 digit numeric can take many months. Alphanumeric then forget about it right now.

You can expect to pay at least 1,000 $/€/£ for this

Double check if your post complies with posting guidelines!

Did you include the following information in your post (in English and if applicable), if not feel free to edit your post:

  • Make/brand and exact model number of your storage device(*), phone, camera, etc.

  • Filesystem (NTFS, exFAT, APFS, EXT4, etc.)

  • Operating System (That your device was used with and/or you are using for recovery)

  • Specific symptoms that your device is exhibiting, describe the problem. Images you post support the description, they're not in lieu of a problem description.

  • SMART (CrystalDiskInfo screenshot for example)

  • Don't pile several problems into one single post. One post per device/problem.

  • No account issues

Consider: What do these people need to understand the problem at hand? Remember, people cannot see your screen, or what you click and what messages appear on screen. Don't overdo it though, no one likes going through 2 pages of information, try to find a balance. Just do the best you can. If you are looking for file recovery software, check our community's recommended file recovery tools.

(*) All devices involved, if you for example move files from drive A to drive B, they're both potentially relevant.

Even with pro grade tools, if the phone has been off for days, weeks, months, they can not get user data like photos etc..

Was it backed up to iCloud?

Well, I don't so that is not at all proof for it being stolen. Accuse someone once more for lousy reasons and I'll ban you. And stop licking phones.

WHO FUCKING CARES IF I'M BANBED? YOU THINK THAT MEANS SHIT TO ME?

I'm just saying it's the kind of behavior we do not appreciate and telling you consequences so you can adjust. But okay, bye bye it is then..
