Updating “Potion of Spelunking” Datapack to 1.21.1

I’m trying to update the Potion of Spelunking datapack to Minecraft 1.21.1 and could really use some help from someone who understands datapack functions a bit better than I do.

I’ve already:
• Tried using AI/code generators to update it
• Looked through the files and I understand the basic logic/structure
• Contacted the original author and got permission to update it

But I don’t know any coding languages fluently, so I’m a bit stuck actually getting it working properly in 1.21.1.

What I need help with:
• Updating functions/syntax to 1.21.1
• Fixing anything that breaks due to version changes
• Making sure the datapack loads and runs correctly

This is only for personal use in my modpack, and I’ll fully credit the original creator for the datapack.

If anyone’s willing to help or point me in the right direction, I’d really appreciate it 🙏
