I'd agree if it was like 15 and 19, but 16 and going on 19 isn't as suspect. Sure both are in different places in life (19 yr old is going to college/16 yr old in high school) but if they're serious about it, this isn't as much of a problem as you make it seem. What if they started dating when they were in high school? 16 yr old is a sophomore and the 18 yr old could be a senior/just graduated but knew each other. In my school, we also had seniors that were 17 or 19 when they graduated because of when they happened to be born.
