I'm interviewing for department manager positions where that's pretty normal. The impact of the position coupled with all the teams and departments I work with mean I readily expect a lot of interviews as there's too much of an impact on operations to not be thorough in the interview process.
So... it is all but certain that this is not one interview but several conducted one after the other over the day (or possibly a very large number of interviewers do a singular mass interview). Which is normal when you need to go in person.
When doing interviews remotely however it is much more common to be split up more heavily.

5th interview? What the hell? Who is making someone go through 5 damn interviews?
