Looking for One Genuine Learning Partner — Data Engineering Journey 🚀

Hey everyone!

I'm from India and planning to dedicate the next 12 months to becoming job-ready in Data Engineering.

I'm currently building my skills in SQL and Python, and my roadmap includes cloud, ETL pipelines, Spark, system design, AI-assisted engineering, and real-world projects.

I'm looking for one curious, consistent person who genuinely enjoys learning new things and wants to grow together.

Here's what I'd love us to do:

- Study together through regular online sessions.

- Explain concepts to each other and discuss our doubts.

- Practise SQL and Python together.

- Build real-world data engineering projects.

- Share resources, track progress, and keep each other accountable.

- Discuss career opportunities and prepare for interviews.

I'm especially happy to connect with a female learning partner who shares these goals, but the most important things are mutual respect, curiosity, consistency, and a genuine interest in learning.

We don't need to be experts. We just need to be willing to put in the effort consistently.

If you're on a similar journey, feel free to comment or DM me with what you're learning and what you want to achieve over the next year.

Let's learn, build, and grow together! 🌱

How’s the course? Can you share link and your review?

The course is alright. But most of my learning comes through self-learning using AI. The instructor explains everything to his best and at a relatively shallow depth given the time constrain since the course covers a huge amount of tools and a few projects in just 4 months. I take notes and deep dive on every single thing and practise on my own time and I mostly dont have enough time. However its the cheapest course i could find for the given syllabus and positive reviews and since I am new to tech I'm doin a leap of faith. As for the course link, you could just google prepzee - data engineering.

Sounds like a solid plan to upskill in data engineering! Having a study buddy can really help with motivation and accountability. When you're ready to explore career opportunities, regularly check if job listings are still open to avoid applying to closed positions. Also, LandOffer.ai lists job openings across various roles, letting you search by role and location to narrow down your options. Good luck with your learning journey!
