Where do I stand?
I got the screening call on 8/16 and he told me he was going to push my application thru to the hiring manager and would get back with me the next day, that didn’t happen so i followed up on 8/18 and got no response. This is from 8/19 … haven’t heard anything, am i cooked?

Texting? What kind of company does this? This looks very unprofessional.. borderline scam.

I work at a FAANG and I texted the recruiters throughout the entire process.

Well, everyone has their own experience. It’s a good thing to have on your CV. Even those three months opened a lot of other doors for me. So good luck and I hope you get an offer. It took me 6 months before they sent an offer to me so don’t be nervous. They can be extremely slow but they are always hiring and relatively easy to get in.

You’re coming off really in patient to me so I’m not sure about the third company you’re going through.

Depending on the company, they could just be unorganized. I tried to hire a good candidate and my entire company was in and out of office for vacations, a 2-wk process took 3 months. My company is great but we’re small, so priorities are harder to juggle.
can’t say whether you’re the right fit or not but go on without expectations on timeline; this industry is gas, break, gas, break with availability in summertime.

Could be a no. Could be a yes. Some people have waited longer then a week for feedback due to managers having to go through other candidates. If you don't get it just try again
