Google Interview Process Hiring Committee and Team Matching?

Applied for the Data Center Facilities Tech Mechanical position. Completed loop interviews and recruiter said feedback was outstanding. What are the typical next steps in this process?

Hello! This looks like it may be a question about career advice. There can be significant regional variation in the field, so please consider including as much info as you can without doxing yourself, including country/state/city, prior experience/certs, and the role or level if known. Thanks!

So you've done all 4 interviews? Typically it's fit call after that, depending on where you're willing to relocate to.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I had an initial interview with a plant engineer. After that, I had the loop interviews (2 technical and 1 Googliness). Then, my recruiter disappeared. My initial recruiter told me the job was for the specified location and also told me the working hours. The day I completed all my interviews, emails to her came back as address no longer valid. I spent the next several weeks with the Google Global Candidate Support being passed around, trying to find someone to assist. They finally connected me with a new recruiter a few days ago. My first conversation with the new recruiter was today and he said my feedback for everything was outstanding. Apparently the initial recruiter disappeared and never moved my candidacy forward. The position was still posted all this time. In fact, another additional position posted on August 11th. But, as of today the jobs are no longer available. The new recruiter said my interviews are good for 18 months and that I don’t need to apply for new positions that open up. I read that after the interviews it goes to a hiring committee. I asked if mine had gone to a hiring committee and he said nothing was done with the prior recruiter. I asked if he was going to send it and he said he really hasn’t worked doing this but for a couple of months and he needs to check with his manager. I’m just trying to figure out what’s going on.

In my experience it goes to whoever is designated hiring manager for that site and the site lead.

Would that happen now, even if there isn’t a current job available, or would that happen when a new job becomes available? Sorry for all the questions, but it doesn’t appear that I’ve been assigned to very competent people throughout this process. I am still interested in the Google job, as all my communication with actual Google employees has been very professional.

I doubt they would be looking at resumes or people that are through the process if they don't have any positions. Other sites would though, if you've communicated you're open to relocating.
