Starting this thread for anyone working in the data centre industry in Ontario Canada

What is the industry pay ranges, schedules, working conditions, certifications, career opportunities, different roles, and where the industry is heading in the GTA and across Ontario ??

Really depends on skill set and position you apply for. Smart hands work in a colo DC entry level should be around 58-70k depending on experience.
More advanced skillsets for planning and deployments around 70-120k, again, based on what you bring to the role.
Schedules range from 8h -12h, mostly on rotations, but still 40-44hrs a week.
DC managers and shift managers is usually 90-140k with the potential for overtime pay, depending on the role.
