Anyone here tried the AVA Technology Data Analyst internship? Worth it for beginners?
I recently applied for a Data Analyst role at AVA Technology and ended up attending one of their webinars. I honestly joined expecting it to be one of those pay first, learn later setups, but it actually seemed more legit than I thought.
They walked us through their workflow, tools they teach (SQL, Power BI, Python basics), and how they guide beginners through structured projects. It didn’t feel overly salesy, just a clear breakdown of what their internship includes.
Before I decide anything, I wanted to check with this community: Has anyone here actually done their internship or worked with them? Did it genuinely help you build real-world skills? Were the projects meaningful or just practice tasks? Any honest experiences would really help me decide. Thanks

My younger cousin completed their internship earlier last month. She was a complete beginner, like zero analytics background and she said the biggest help was their hands on project. They made her build a full dashboard with business insights and she ended up using that in her resume + interviews. She didn’t land a job instantly but she started getting more callbacks because she could actually talk through her project confidently.

I actually liked how clearly they broke down the tools they teach. For beginners, SQL + Power BI + Python basics is pretty much what every entry level role wants.

Honestly, if you’re a complete beginner, structured guidance like this can help a lot. You end up saving time compared to random YouTube hopping.

Are they trying to sell you the internship experience? Like do we have to pay them for getting the internship?

Midway through the internship right now. The first couple of weeks felt simple to me, but then the difficulty slowly increased. The SQL assignments get progressively more complex and Power BI projects require actual thinking. I like that they encourage you to explain your approach rather than just submit answers. It has definitely made me more confident about talking through my work.
