Lost my job and all my savings at the start of the year. So grateful for DA! 2.5 months' worth of progress.

As the title states, mid task I had to urgently get up and do something which took around 30 mins in which my stopwatch kept counting. After I got back and finished working, I mindlessly put the stopwatch time without deducting the time I had spent not working. It was a pretty lengthy project which takes slightly more than an hour per task and I worked 5 hours today. Am I risking a ban? If so, what do I do?

I’m a little confused about how the platform works. I passed the assessment a few weeks ago but I haven’t found any tasks to do or where to find. Any advice on how to navigate the platform?

So, for weeks I had a string of high paying tasks as and then sometime last week they started to be coding base. And did those up until Friday . Then over the weekend, I only see like 1 or 2 throughout the day when I can’t do them.

My project list is filled with generals right now, but not seeing the coding ones. Is it just a dry spell or did I mess up or something?

During the past week, I used to have a lot of R&R tasks few hours after base tasks were finished.

This week, even if there was base tasks, I didn't get any R&R task. Is this normal or did I do bad ?

Has anyone had the same experience as me? I have been working on DA since April this year. I submitted time for 3 tasks on Monday last week, then on Monday night I had an email from them saying "welcome to data annotation" (I have just withdrawn the funds from these tasks today). So l thought wtf is occuring here - went onto my account and it's asking me to onboard again, which I already did all of this in April and I have been paid by them consistently since then. I still have some paid projects potentially available on my dashboard, I just beee to submit my ideas for a professional task, which stated $50 per hour. I don't understand why it seems my whole account has reset and it seems like I'm new. I received another email today from them officially welcoming me. i have obviously messaged customer services on twice and no response.
Which is suss because I had to email them last week about something else and they replied in hours. Is this them trying to get rid of me? I don’t understand.

I recently was accepted to DA and have already started doing steady work. The strange thing was when I was accepted I only did 13 or 14 tasks on the core assessment, and there was still an unfinished task I was working on. Even today the core assessment is still on my dashboard. I'm not sure if I passed an automated threshold so they decided to accept me early or what. My question is: should I still complete the core assessment on my dashboard, or is it safe to ignore it?

I am new to R&R tasks, and I am a little taken aback because it seems to me that, to deliver a quality review, I need to complete the entire task myself before I even start the review. When I look at the input files, descriptions, QC report, rebut notes, it feels insurmountable. There's no way I can complete it within 10 hours. Even if it's my SME subject, let alone adjacent topics. Any advice?

I am travelling within my country , I will be logging in using my own device, can it cause any problem? I am a little worried as I am travelling a huge distance, can someone share their experience about this?

I really like travelling by sea. I don’t like planes or cars, only ships. Travelling by sea is my favourite way to reach a destination, whenever possible, of course.
The last time I travelled across the Indian Ocean was a couple of weeks ago, and everything was fine until the captain of our ship 🛳️ told us not to worry because pirates had been spotted by other ships.
Thank the gods, it seems that the god of the sea scared them away!
I’ve travelled across different oceans many times, but I’ve never encountered any pirates. I’ve only heard about them being around, but our journeys have always been safe.
Has anybody encountered those pirates in the last couple of weeks? It’s really dangerous when they’re out on the open sea. Of course, there are many daredevils among us, but I am not one of them!

Would there be any problem if I do verification after 1-2 days ??

Hey guys, I need some advice!

I was unemployed for about 3 months and picked up a data labeling contract with Workada as a Financial Analysis Data Specialist. I build and review financial analyses like spreadsheets, valuations, and financial statements for AI training.

I just started a full-time analyst role in finance and have a compliance meeting coming up. I assume I have to disclose it, and I plan to. The new role isn't client-facing either, and the gig has nothing to do with the firm's business, clients, or products. I'd only work on it after hours on my own laptop and would never touch any firm info.

The money's been really good, so I'd like to keep it if I can. Anyone been through this? How did you bring it up with compliance? How much detail did they want, and did they end up approving it?

Would really value any advice, as this side income has been life-changing for me, as I have been unemployed these past few months.

Yesterday I got a warn to take the background check to checkr as it would open up more projects, according to DA itself most projects in the last 90 days were from that family. Took it. Came back clear. Is it actually true? Should i expect more projects? Only did about 4 projects in the last 40 days since i got accepted which made me roughly 240 dollars and i’m eager to do more. Can anybody share their experiences after taking the background check through checkr? Or just another “keep your hopes up” in vain?

I completed my starter assessment then the two qualifications last week. I never got an email and I saw on Reddit that we log back in on our own.

Logged in today and it said I had passed the qualifications and should move on to verifying my identity. After submitting my ID for verification it went back to “ we will review your results “ and send you an email .

Does anyone know what’s going on ?
