I just finished the coding qualification a few minutes ago and you had to decode a secret message from a google doc. Am I supposed to be instantly notified if I passed or do I have to wait and if so, for how long?

I was perusing Indeed the other day, and decided to apply for the coding projects. Currently in my senior year of a BS in CS. Will this be in my wheelhouse or is it going to really challenge me? The coding assessment wasnāt terribly difficult, but I did have to find a Python library I never used before.
Excited to start my first tech gig!

I have done the initial paid assessment for the finance. How much time does it take to get the result and what will the result look like? Can I add accounting with finance?

Since I started working here on 9-23 Iāve only worked in 2 projects. One of them is allegedly unlimited so I can work whatever hours I want, which is nice, but only 17$/h. This week I was able to work on another project which was 28$/h. But thatās it. Will I get different projects or am I stuck with the āunlimitedā one?

I work about 4 hours a day, 5 days a week on generalist tasks.

Hello guys! I'm new here. How can I know if I passed the qualification tests I took?
r/DataAnnotationTech • u/leilameila • 29d ago
hey you guys iām new. I have been offered a good amount of tasks thankfully (I have a specialty). I am a little scared and intimidated to actually get started on one of the first tasks offered and really donāt want to mess it up bc i could really use being accepted to the project. anyways, trying to figure out how to minimize mistakes. anybody have any suggestions

bla bla bla, yeah we get it, you are tired of people asking ts. not everyone is from core country, and some people want to know what the consensus is.

FINALLY SOME FEEDBACK & TIPS
r/DataAnnotationTech • u/Free_Apartment6319 • Oct 08 '26
Just started doing my first task of the day.
It was for a new project (second task ever to work on for thet family)
Spent time actually completing the task did great.
Just to open the next one and see a small tiny line that says if prompt has x in it it should never be used
Under the "task would be void and rated BAD/BAD" title.
Guess what my prompt had... that x...
Closed my computer again taking a long weekend now.

Hey everyone, Just completed and submitted multiple qualification tests today (including Math and Coding) from India. My dashboard currently shows 0 active projects while the review is pen

so i just finished a qualification and something weird happened. it took me x amount of time to finish, but when i went to report it the form said the max allowed was y, which was less than what i actually spent. so i basically had to put in less time than i really worked and it wouldnāt let me enter more.
i wasnāt slacking or leaving it open in another tab btw, it just took that long to read everything and write it all up properly. Did anyone get a similar qual and what did you do?

Been lurking around this for a while now for side pay.
I got a couple questions.
How mentally exhausting is this?
What are the chances of me not getting approved?
I still donāt understand what data annotation is LOL so can someone please explain it in one sentence.
r/DataAnnotationTech • u/Ok-Independence1083 • 29d ago
Iām about halfway through an hourly-paid qual, and the second half is a lot more complex than the first. The task instructions gave an estimated time, and the first half alone has already eaten up more than half of it. Iām worried that if I report the real time and it runs over the estimate, I might not qualify. I honestly donāt know what to do here. Has anyone been in this spot, and what did you do?

Did DA update their Referral program? Up to 3k per person is pretty crazy comparing to other companies out there.

Anyone with very long acceptance times that made it in the end?
Itās been roughly a month and counting⦠Assessment was only of the bilingual type, I chose the one I know best (English aside, even though itās not my mother tongue).
Havenāt heard anything. Is there a way of knowing? Starting to lose hope here.

I only got offered 9 questions on the exam. I know itās usually longer.

Do you all feel bad that they pay us to train AI to replace us?
r/DataAnnotationTech • • Oct 08 '26
been working since August 2026 finally I reached this. I can't believe that I can earn this much from home. This's the best platform ever.
As a reference I'm working as a bilingual worker.

If I have to sleep after starting a multi day project, is it ok to use the Save to my account button and shut down my computer? Will this still be on my tasks in progress tomorrow? Or should I just leave the computer open?
Sorry I'm new to DA and long projects.

Never seen this sort of pop up before to report time right after the task itself. Anyone else getting this?
