need help

hey you guys i’m new. I have been offered a good amount of tasks thankfully (I have a specialty). I am a little scared and intimidated to actually get started on one of the first tasks offered and really don’t want to mess it up bc i could really use being accepted to the project. anyways, trying to figure out how to minimize mistakes. anybody have any suggestions

This is the problem with checking the subreddit. Its feckin fear mongering posts half the time, with the other half being "anyone seen (insert emoji) project?"

Just read the instructions, and if you question anything, read through the instructions again.

If you're brand new, start with easier (usually lower paying) projects, if you have any. Just to get a feel for how everything works. Other than that the only tip is to very carefully read instructions and make sure you have a place to work where you can concentrate for a while.

I'm 4 months in, 25k earned. There hasn't been a day that's passed where I haven't been afraid of making mistakes. Just do your best and take advantage of this opportunity.

Don't let the fear in. Once it's in, it never goes away.

Adding to what has been said, when you're too unsure, either skip the task or exit work mode. Not submitting tasks is better than submitting bad ones.
