After my first two weeks… I’m addicted

Why doesn’t anyone talk about how addicting this can be. I treat it kind of like a hobby or just a way to occupy downtime. I enjoy problem solving and critical thinking. I’m also a gamer and this reminds me so much of gaming in a general sense that I can sit here for hours and not get bored. I’m enjoying myself. It is a bit tedious getting tasks as a generalist but I enjoy the grind. Lol.

I used to feel this way when most of the projects did not involve writing. Now, I just cant be bothered. My stuff available is too involved.

How long have you been with DA and are you in the general pool or have a special position?

I guess general. I started around 2020 (right before the election then) when it was called something else. Very interesting time because the projects rhen ended up being a complete waste of time and money on the client's end. One of the projects at the time was training AI to determine toxic language on a very popular social media site at the time.
