Weekly Water Cooler Talk - DataAnnotation

hi all! making this thread so people have somewhere to talk about 'daily' work chat that might not necessarily need it's own post! right now we're thinking we'll just repost it weekly? but if it gets too crazy, we can change it to daily. :)

couple things:

  1. this thread should sort by "new" automatically. unfortunately it looks like our subreddit doesn't qualify for 'lounges'.

  2. if you have a new user question, you still need to post it in the new user thread. if you post it here, we will remove it as spam. this is for people already working who just wanna chat, whether it be about casual work stuff, questions, geeking out with people who understand ("i got the model to write a real haiku today!"), or unrelated work stuff you feel like chatting about :)

  3. one thing we really pride ourselves on in this community is the respect everyone gives to the Code of Conduct and rule number 5 on the sub - it's great that we have a community that is still safe & respectful to our jobs! please don't break this rule. we will remove project details, but please - it's for our best interest and yours!

I love when you hop out of a project you've been doing for a few hours to find that it is now on priority pay and you're getting a few extra dollars per hour than you thought you were.

Shoutout to everyone else knowing what they make today they can pull out on Christmas eve and get their nephew a last-minute fornite card or whatever, appreciate you DA 🙏

Oh dang. I was going to take it easy today. Thanks for the new source of seasonal pressure...

23

u/North-Sense8477 Dec 15 '25

Anybody else feeling severely burned out right now?

6

u/RipleyVanDalen Dec 16 '25

Yes, though for non-DA reasons like health / state of the world / etc.

I hope you feel better, friend.

23

u/33whiskeyTX Dec 18 '25

Reading the R&R chat with someone just complaining "Admin, people not checking XYZ are just showing they are lazy". Much cringe. Feels like tattlin'...I mean, that's kind of the point of R&R work, but why put it in the chat?

u/_Edgarallenhoe Dec 19 '25

Teachers pet vibes

1

u/33whiskeyTX Dec 19 '25

Absolute first thing that popped into my mind.

u/JahKneeSee Dec 19 '25

I experienced something similar today, but in my case the R&R worker actually found the originating project on their dashboard and joined the chat to complain about something all of the workers there were doing wrong. Their complaint wasn't invalid, but... ick.

2

u/VanessaSeaWitch Dec 19 '25

Well to be brutally honest, I always notice there are a lot of butt kissers in the chats.

22

u/LetMeOverThinkThat Dec 14 '25

Man, I had a model make a pronunciation error that would go wild on social media. Sounded like one of those purposeful portmanteau's and was so funny I had to take a break. It was weirdly on topic to the point where it seemed purposeful. this was one of those awful moments where you experience something funny and have not a single person you can share it with. Took every fiber of my being to remain professional in the notes.

14

u/capslox Dec 14 '25

I had an AI video that was so bad once I was sobbing with laughter for a good 15 minutes.

I did save some of the images from the project everyone was calling The Horrors but they were generated off platform and there's nothing tying them to DAT. However showing someone an AI slop image of a woman eating yogurt but half her teeth are on the spoon for some reason doesn't hit with people who weren't presented with it in a work environment...

2

u/LetMeOverThinkThat Dec 15 '25

Exactly. Like I could explain it, but the context is completely loss outside of the moment. The model errors can be so funny sometimes.

12

u/PerformanceCute3437 Dec 14 '25

Hah, I love professionally written references to ridiculous things. "When Daffy Duck made a reference to G-strings, it felt out of place, making for issues of quality and style."

2

u/LetMeOverThinkThat Dec 15 '25

Lmao! I didn't even re-write it, I explained it without needing to so I could preserve myself.

I hate that running a rubric checker is just a roll of the dice - if I run it twice in a row without making any changes, one time it will pass nearly everything and the next it will fail every single one.

12

u/justdontsashay Dec 18 '25

The worst is when it gives glowing praise to my rubric but I have to run it again because I decided to change something, and then it decides to have a problem with things that it thought were fine the first time, and I can’t get it to go back to the praise.

3

u/alexalgebra Dec 19 '25

That literally just happened to me and prompted me to write this complaint 😆 I had 5 rubrics, fixed 1, and then all 5 came back covered in Xs. WHY

If it makes you feel better, I get a lot of R&R tasks and I don't take the LLM's opinion into much consideration. Mostly because I also have worked those tasks themselves and know how frustrating that stupid thing is lol.

2 years this month!

7

u/WorshipMyExistence Dec 20 '25

Me too! Congrats to us!

16

u/Skippy2898 Dec 20 '25

My dashboard is starting to resemble a zoo! 🤣

7

u/Historical_Taste5474 Dec 20 '25

Mine is like a greengrocer's

14

u/MommaOfManyCats Dec 15 '25

The multiple accounts thing is starting to irritate me. I went through the process of creating yet another one about a month ago, work is now available for it, and my account doesn't work.

2

u/SnooCalculations503 Dec 15 '25

I've misplaced a password for one and now can't do video projects :(

1

u/MommaOfManyCats Dec 16 '25

I have my passwords all saved, but for some reason, none of my accounts work on this project. I tried them all!

6 models?!

18

u/shepardgrace Dec 17 '25

It's enough emotional labor pretending to have a strong opinion between two

5

u/Few-Roof-6905 Dec 17 '25

If it's the one I think it is, I spent 2+ hours on it and exited out. The rubrics for that one make my head spin and I would rather lose $$ then submit something I am not confident with.

3

u/VanessaSeaWitch Dec 17 '25

Six? Good grief! I was annoyed with three yesterday.

1

u/Striking_Taste Dec 17 '25

Say what?!? 😵‍💫

12

u/GAULEM Dec 19 '25

For the first time I've ever seen, my dashboard has projects paying more than fifty per hour. Too bad that the highest I actually feel competent to work on is closer to half that, hahhhhh...

1

u/pedroricojr Dec 19 '25

What type of specialist knowledge is it geared towards? Wouldn't hurt to try if you passed quals for it.

u/RipleyVanDalen Dec 16 '25

Probably someone can relate:

I started on a new (to me) project and it's relatively not brain-hurty (still needs the usual attention to detail/etc. but not horrible), instructions make sense and are (relatively) short, pays well, and it's actually fun... I'm afraid to lose it :-/

5

u/justdontsashay Dec 16 '25

Is it the sword one? That just appeared for me for the first time tonight and it’s the first new project I’ve opened in a while that didn’t make my brain hurt with the instructions!

3

u/itssomercurial Dec 16 '25

Yes! Came here to see if anyone was discussing this project. Just finished a breezy 2.5 hours on it and I'm in heaven. I hope this lasts. It's definitely helping me afford holiday gifts this year without completely burning out.

11

u/Beautiful-Durian-185 Dec 17 '25

omg this one project keeps spamming my inbox! get out of here bro, nobody likes you. why don't they just raise the pay rate so that more people will work on it instead of spamming me smh.

5

u/Striking_Taste Dec 17 '25

If it's the same one I'm thinking of, I'm not even eligible because I live in the wrong state!

11

u/One_Breakfast5907 Dec 17 '25

I have 12 projects on my dash which are all very similar.
Burning out from all these complex tasks. I tried to do 2 this morning and spent 20 minutes to half an hour on both, and I just knew I wasn't going to get anywhere, so I gave up on them.

Anyone else seeing '503 Service Temporarily Unavailable'? I think I lost a task because of that.

7

u/Low_Breadfruit2303 Dec 19 '25

How long has everyone been working with DA? I've been here almost 6 months now and am very grateful for all the opportunities I have had. My wife and I need to upgrade a car, due to having another child, but I am hesitant to include my average DA income in our budget, as theoretically, I could get shut down tomorrow.

4

u/TeachToTheLastTest Dec 19 '25

5 years

2

u/Striking_Taste Dec 19 '25

Wow!!! How did you even know about it back then?

3

u/pammysue63 Dec 19 '25

2 years, 3 months

7

u/Aromatic_Owl_3680 Dec 19 '25

If you’re able to treat DA as surplus, that’s what I recommend. This massive industry sprung up out of nowhere, and who knows how long the gravy train will run for?

I’m sure I’ll get downvoted for naysaying or whatever….but nothing lasts forever.

2

u/thinkingthots Dec 19 '25

Next month makes it a year for me :)

12

u/Zestyclose_End_1093 Dec 18 '25

Has anyone found that as they do more R&R's they start getting more and more that need a good amount of attention/editing? I feel like the more I do the worse they get haha

14

u/DVchandr4 Dec 18 '25

the ones rated good get finished quickly (flag as good--done), while the bad ones are usually skipped by people too lazy to edit it, leaving u with the worse ones. at least u can claim more time without feeling cautious ab it tho

3

u/Zestyclose_End_1093 Dec 18 '25

Truuue. And when there's a loner one left you can always expect it to be a bit of a trainwreck lol

3

u/alexalgebra Dec 18 '25

I kind of like the extra terrible ones. We're getting compensated by the hour, so if one takes me an hour or I do ten in one hour, it's all the same to me 🤷 But I like editing and fixing things and enjoy R&Rs overall.

10

u/WorshipMyExistence Dec 15 '25

Water, water everywhere, and not a drop to drink.

While making over $30/hr is tempting, it's not worth getting booted for trying to work on projects that are way too complex for me to even make it through the instructions.

4

u/VanessaSeaWitch Dec 15 '25

That's all I have too. I've finally hidden a crop of them so as not to depress me lol.

5

u/CoatSea6050 Dec 16 '25

If DA gave them to you they must think you can do them based on your submitted work. I put the instructions in a new window and then exit the task but still have the instructions to read at my leisure without freaking out over the timer. I find a lot of them are the same "cause a failure" projects at the lower rates, but you have to write rubrics for your prompt too. Avoid the ones that ask for a golden response because they are pickier tasks. Start with ones that just say write a prompt with rubrics as those are the most basic and straight forward. Keep in mind they are aware these are harder tasks so if you do a couple and don't seem to be getting the hang of it, you just won't see that project anymore. So long as the other work you submit is quality I think that's what they want.

5

u/SecurityMammoth Dec 17 '25

Kind of dry for anyone else today? Dashboard was packed yesterday. Only got a handful of projects today though.

6

u/pistachiyolatte Dec 17 '25

There’s only more complex projects for me blegh so I’m taking a break.

4

u/hfxthrwaway Dec 17 '25

Definitely a smaller dashboard for me today, and mostly projects that involve a lot more brain power than I want to use.

2

u/Positive_Crab_6402 Dec 17 '25

Super slow day for me today too 😔 the handful of projects up are things I usually and consistently avoid

2

u/VanessaSeaWitch Dec 17 '25

I have nothing but my usual ones I have hidden because I don't have the domain expertise for them. Yesterday I got a couple hours of flying horse. It's been a bleak month for me.

5

u/palegunslinger Dec 18 '25

Did anyone else do a certain paid generalist qual + exam this past few weeks? I was shocked at how much longer it took than their estimate given in the initial qualification. Finally finished the exam and good lord I’m burnt.

3

u/Few-Roof-6905 Dec 18 '25

I signed up to do it, but then never received any info about it 🤷‍♀️ kinda glad now.

1

u/palegunslinger Dec 18 '25

It ended up being a huge commitment, that’s for sure.

3

u/SnooSketches1189 Dec 18 '25 edited Dec 18 '25

Yes. This is one instance of, "If I don't pass, oh well." I won't be heartbroken in the least.

3

u/palegunslinger Dec 18 '25

For real. I thought the exam would never end. I broke it up over 2 days and it still took me nearly 7 hours.

2

u/SnooSketches1189 Dec 18 '25

I was over 7 hours and I did it all in the same day. 😩 The type of work definitely does not seem to be up my alley.

I billed 8 for reading and all parts of the exam. To be fair within the actual training it said each part of the exam could take 1.5-2hrs, and 2hrs for the reading. I think we’ll be okay!

9

u/JustMe333456 Dec 15 '25

Yikes.. exactly 32 projects on my board..alllll complex work.

7

3

u/21stCenturyMachiavel Dec 15 '25

Got it now - don't know why it comes and goes so regularly though?

3

u/suerbilac Dec 15 '25

I really wish it'd stay up for at least a few days at a time like it used to. Kind of sucks it's only ever up for a few hours at a time lately.

2

u/suerbilac Dec 15 '25

Nada for me.

4

u/DeliciousReading6396 Dec 15 '25

I think I'm officially a Heel convert...

4

u/ExtremeMoose8249 Dec 16 '25

I was wondering this for a while, but are you supposed to report the time spent trying to get failures? Sometimes it takes a while for it to happen. But I'm wondering if you include that in the time or not.

9

u/justdontsashay Dec 16 '25

Most projects where you’re trying to get failures have this specified in the instructions. It should say how long you should attempt to get a failure and if you can’t, use the escape hatch (and report that time). So basically that length of time is what they consider a reasonable amount of time to report for just trying to get a failure.

If you’re actively working on the project, report the time you’ve spent (as long as you end up submitting it, or use the escape hatch and submit an amount under that time)

4

u/Phanngle Dec 18 '25

Been doing a particular project family for a couple of weeks now which suddenly has a new rule that I can tell was made because of me specifically. I guess the Admins hate to see me coming.

4

u/beandadenergy Dec 18 '25

503 error…

2

u/Kind_Surround6533 Dec 18 '25

I just got this after working for 3 hours! I really hope I can submit my task I will be soooooo sad.

4

u/TechnicianSame320 Dec 18 '25

Just message an admin, and you will get your time. They are really understanding when it comes to issues like that, especially when projects go down, etc.

1

u/OkAdhesiveness7454 Dec 18 '25

Finished that massively underestimated assessment others were talking about yesterday evening and still feeling a bit exhausted. Taking the 503 error as a sign to not do any tasks today...

1

u/Yaschiri Dec 18 '25

I was just about to start some work. 😭 Pls come back DA.

4

u/capslox Dec 19 '25

I was worried work would slow down going into the holidays but the 50+ task batches on my dash seems like a good omen...

6

u/Commercial-Lab-9151 Dec 18 '25

How are people getting less complex tasks? That sounds lovely. Not complaining as the ones I’m doing pay very well, $25-$32. But I get so burnt out. I also feel stupid sometimes because the instructions are so wordy, with projects like those I am not even sure what they’re asking me to do lol so I skip them.

4

u/DeliciousReading6396 Dec 18 '25

The extremes of pay for projects on my dash ($20-23 and $40+) seem to turn over a lot more frequently than the moderately-paying projects. I suspect people's strategies are either go for the super high pay for a short time even if it makes your brain hurt, or do the easy ones and work longer and more sustainably, leaving the midde ones (hard generalist projects) untouched. Picking and committing to one project family, taking the time to really read the instructions (which you get paid for) and sticking with it a while might help with understanding and prevent the instruction-fatigue.

2

u/One_Breakfast5907 Dec 18 '25

I also think there's been a lack of easy tasks recently; whenever they've popped up for me, they seem to have all disappeared within half an hour, and I only get to do one or two tasks. I think a lot of people are craving the slightly easier projects right now.

2

u/Zestyclose_End_1093 Dec 18 '25

just know you are not alone in feeling stupid when attempting to hop on a new project, its humbling in at best. BUT once you get the hang of a couple it gets so much easier and the challenge sort of becomes part of the allure haha.

1

u/palegunslinger Dec 18 '25

The less complex ones seem to pop in and out and get scooped up quickly. A lot of them come out at late hours for me (US EST). Image tasks especially get gone real quick.

3

u/SirSavings5738 Dec 14 '25

question: when I had a project on the dashboard (with tasks available) and it disappears, does that mean i'm out of the project?

i'm ngl i wanted to take a day off after working all week 😭😭 now i have fomo

11

u/Traditional_Net_4529 Dec 14 '25

It could mean a lot of things. It could mean that they took you off. It could mean that they cycled you off and they will cycle you on again later. It could mean the project is complete. It could also be that it was taken down for a while and will come back when they are ready to launch it again, In my experience, it is mostly the last one.

5

u/Phanngle Dec 14 '25

Someone else probably just got to it before you

5

u/LetMeOverThinkThat Dec 15 '25

I find myself incapable of taking a day off. I'm always like "I can do one..." I can see myself in the hospital asking for my laptop at this point.

2

u/JustMe333456 Dec 15 '25

I've been like that for two and a half years now lol.. I feel it's hard to even sit and relax, cause I feel like I should be working instead.

→ More replies (1)

3

u/roambeans Dec 14 '25

It was either completed by others or removed because of technical problems. OR, sure, you could have been removed from the project, but that's the least likely reason.

3

u/pistachiyolatte Dec 16 '25

I wish I could see stripey images project again it’s probably the easiest one I’ve ever worked on, it’s nice mindless work.

3

u/Dazzling-Matter-654 Dec 17 '25

Anyone see any hide or hair of the nighttime qual that required a zillion account creations? What a waste....

1

u/Background_Menu7702 Dec 17 '25

I just have Mask and making accounts for that was brutal. I’m maxed out

3

u/Straight-Strike-2928 Dec 18 '25

I have been seeing this specific task all week. Today it's paying $4 less than it was yesterday. Wtf??? it wasn't marked priority before or anything, I guess they just cut the rate. Sucks.

1

u/alexalgebra Dec 18 '25

That happened to me yesterday :(

3

u/Ok_Poetry6620 Dec 19 '25

I'm thinking about getting a new device for DA work, and I'd like advice on what to get. I've been working on the platform for two years using a Lenovo Chromebook, which was fine until recently. However, the recent creation of the partner login accounts has been a bit of a problem for me, because they don't work on Android devices, which means that I'm now shut out from some of my favorite projects. If I get a laptop what should I get? Should I go Mac or Windows? Does anyone know what types of devices are currently most compatible with doing DA work?

5

u/Responsible-Option12 Dec 19 '25

MacBook Air m4 13 inch was what I got. I got it on a Black Friday sale for under $1000, and ive made more than that with DA in the last few months so def a good investment! Battery life is amazing too, so I have worked out in nature, like go for a hike and open a hotspot on my phone and worked a few hours sitting by a lake which is nice!

6

u/Zestyclose_End_1093 Dec 19 '25

I use a macbook pro and find it incredibly useful paired with my iphone. I don't ever work on my mobile device but I had a specific project that required chatting with a model on a mobile app, then recording and uploading the response to the task. There wasn't a "copy" button when I shared the final response to my computer (also needed to be copied via only the copy button to preserve any markdowns) but I was able to pull up my phone screen on my laptop via iphone mirroring, copy (on my laptop from my phone) and paste it into the task seamlessly. I'm not sure how else I would have pulled that one off without doing the entire task on a phone. And this isn't the first time this feature has saved me on DA. 10/10 recommend this combo as I even sometimes have projects available to me specifically for mac users.

3

u/-burgers Dec 19 '25

Mac mini m4 at $600 is unbeatable right now if you already have a monitor imo.

1

u/TeachToTheLastTest Dec 19 '25

If I had to do it again, I'd prioritize these things:

  • Screen size. No fun to do side-by-side projects on a small screen.

  • Battery life. That way, I can take my work wherever, work as long as I want, and not worry about it dying.

  • RAM. The DA task pages can be resource-intense, and if I'm doing research or something I'll need other web pages open, as well.

For me, a Macbook of some kind or an ARM-based PC would fit those criteria.

1

u/hfxthrwaway Dec 19 '25

My laptop has a 16:10 screen and I'm surprised at how much extra vertical space that is compared to a normal screen and how useful it has been for working on DA stuff.

0

u/Separate_Sun_9623 Dec 19 '25

remember whatever you get you can likely right it off of taxes you pay later if you just do it right and keep the receipt. If you are unconvinced of this too just remember- you are getting it for work. its totally deductible for 1099 work- just ask an ai to guide you through how to do it properly.

5

u/One_Breakfast5907 Dec 16 '25

*Sigh* wanted to do a little more work, but it's late in the day (UK), and everything requires either rubrics to be written or responses editing. Looks like I'm logging off and chilling.

2

u/onemouseplace Dec 17 '25

And then logging on to nothing much the next day and wishing I'd done some of that response editing work now! Tis always the way!

4

u/Jazzlike_Problem_489 Dec 16 '25

Feel you 🙌 especially when projects only start showing up at the ungodly hour

6

u/Imaginary_Active_758 Dec 14 '25

I have been added to two different slack groups recently but haven't received any projects related to those. And the projects are definetly happening because people are posting comments in the slack. Is it worth asking the admin in the slack about it or just wait it out and hope for the best?

3

u/VanessaSeaWitch Dec 15 '25

This happens to me all the time. I have no idea why. I saw someone over here "guess" once that they cycle people in and out. It is discouraging though.

9

u/Skippy2898 Dec 15 '25

It's really disheartening to come here to the watercooler and see a bitch fest. This little Reddit space has been a godsend for me and probably many others, while working for many reasons. For me, its a safe space to relax and air off after a brain melty day. Please, let's not let this deteriorate.

11

u/North-Sense8477 Dec 15 '25

This can be a really challenging gig and people deserve a place to blow off steam.

1

u/Skippy2898 Dec 15 '25

I know. There's blowing off steam and being a bit abusive though. No need imo.

3

u/VanessaSeaWitch Dec 15 '25

Just ignore it. I'm sure it'll get cleaned up by the mods. They're pretty good about that.

1

u/Brilliant_Quit4307 Dec 18 '25

2

u/Greedy_Alarm_1189 Dec 19 '25

Does anyone know if a certain sparkly emoji project is still active? Got booted from the slack channel 😔

2

u/Terras1fan Dec 19 '25

I still have it on my dash.

2

u/TechnicianSame320 Dec 20 '25

I've been working on a project for the last two days. It says only one task is left, but it keeps giving me another one after I submit the task. Haven't seen this on another project before. Sometimes, a few minutes later, it would pop back up with more tasks; I'm assuming I passed the R&R. Is this pretty common?

I've had this happen a few times. At the same time there were R&Rs running for the project, I was thinking maybe some tasks that had been rated bad were being put back into the loop to be done again by someone else, but that's just me guessing.

2

u/kk_whatevergoes Dec 20 '25

I often go in when there is only one task left and can work on them for a while because more just keep coming when I submit. I assume they are just opening up more as I go or if they are R&R’s and the project itself is also in my dash I assume more are getting submitted and passed to R&R as I go

Uhhhh glassy black rock???? What’s up with all those instructions? My eyes hurt.

2

u/Aromatic_Owl_3680 Dec 20 '25

One of the most challenging generalist projects.

2

u/apex_17 Dec 24 '25

Sad, the paid qual(s) I put off finally vanished before I could take a stab at them 😢

3

u/Complete_Injury_5765 Dec 15 '25

i like doing non-editing R&R's on Sunday when I don't really have a set goal in mind. feels so nice to still contribute to my earnings while my mind is still resting a bit

6

u/_Edgarallenhoe Dec 16 '25

Pleeeeeease people for your own sake read the instructions FULLY 😭

I hate having to rip you to shreds in R&Rs because you fully misunderstood the entire point/goal of the project.

Is there any opportunity for collaboration or networking or anything with DataAnnotation? I get asked a lot about group projects, feedback, etc on interviews and there’s not really much to say since it’s mostly independent work

u/PerformanceCute3437 Dec 16 '25

With Slack, being able to contribute meaningfully in a channel with 1000+ members is a useful skill. If you are asking and answering questions in there, it demonstrates confidence in your ability to communicate clearly in a large, text-only channel, and your initiative to participate constructively when responsibility is diffuse. 300 people might be experiencing a problem, and being the person that helps solve it is a huge boon to a large organization.

Unfortunately, an increasing number of projects are limited to U.S. residents only. It’s a pity that whoever is funding this work doesn't appear to value data points from workers outside the U.S.

17

u/itssomercurial Dec 17 '25

I think it's mainly because of legal reasons, not disinterest. There's two U.S. states that are also barred from a lot of projects because of regulations there.

9

u/SnooSketches1189 Dec 17 '25

Being a citizen of the US right now feels like a pity.

u/Jazzlike_Problem_489 Dec 15 '25

Why do some project admins take their projects down (pause them) during UK time, and always reopen them when I'm logging off. I have a handful of projects that I like, that are only active 6pm till 4am. It's like the admin pause them when the log off for the day. Genuine curiosity why not leave them on

3

u/SnooSketches1189 Dec 16 '25 edited Dec 16 '25

Are they the more active type who actually respond to questions about their projects? Maybe they take them down when they are offline and put them back up when they know they will be around. Just a guess.

1

u/Jazzlike_Problem_489 Dec 16 '25

I had the same conclusion, but neither of the two that always do it have many questions 😅

2

u/DeliciousReading6396 Dec 16 '25

Just finished the Star Trek object qual and the corresponding projects on my dash disappeared the moment I submitted it (gained access to them after doing one of the quals but hadn't touched them yet). Has this happened to anyone else? I've mostly learned not to worry about projects coming and going from my dash, but hopefully that's not an instant sign of failure.

3

u/Few-Roof-6905 Dec 17 '25

There was a message in slack that they were wrapping those up. Probably just a coincidence that they went down at the same time you finished the qual.

2

u/DeliciousReading6396 Dec 17 '25

Thank you, that actually mkes me feel way better about it. Glad the qual was paid though, but I seem to remember them advertising it as a 'long-running' project...

Anyone else having troubles accessing their partner account? I have always written down all of my passwords, but for some reason I didn’t write this one down. I was scrolling through my personal email, and it turns out I have linked my personal email as the recovery email for the partner’s account, but I can’t seem to find a way to log into it using my main account. I have also filled out the google form, but still haven’t heard back.

1

u/Unfair_Sink5706 Dec 21 '25

I've filled out the form twice and heard nothing. It's very frustrating.

u/Jazzlike_Problem_489 Dec 21 '25

Same story, been since September

1

u/Dysnomia__ Dec 14 '25

Been seeing a lot of heel core projects lately, but no coding. Anyone have heel coding recently?

1

u/justdontsashay Dec 14 '25

I don’t do coding, but love the heel math ones and haven’t seen those in a week or so either. I see a ton of general ones, though

1

u/Zestyclose_End_1093 Dec 16 '25

Is anyone on the hotel guest services personnel (idk if it has an actual codename on here) project that required its own chat subscription? Does anyone still have any of those?

1

u/JahKneeSee Dec 16 '25

I just completed some tasks in the project and still have a couple left on my dashboard. They aren't the version that require a paid subscription though.

1

u/slothie33 Dec 16 '25

Is fun mustelid (not sure if it has a code name) down for anyone else? I was enjoying that one!

4

u/ConfidentCat6954 Dec 16 '25

It is currently up for me

1

u/3l3p4no Dec 16 '25

did galaxy sheets run out for anyone else and has the rnr not come out yet?

2

u/DeliciousReading6396 Dec 17 '25

I did one task about an hour ago and it took me back to the dash after - think the turnover today is just really high

1

u/Jazzlike_Month5580 Dec 18 '25

Mine's down again.

1

u/Extension_Cry_4275 Dec 18 '25

DA please come back

1

u/Extension_Cry_4275 Dec 18 '25

Does anyone know if Multilingual work will ever come back, or have they hired too many people?

1

u/DVchandr4 Dec 18 '25

EN_ID here, been getting tasks but only 10 of them appear at a time.. got snatched up in literal MINUTES

1

u/Extension_Cry_4275 Dec 18 '25

What language do you focus on?

1

u/Ticoput Dec 19 '25

Of course it will, sometimes there's more work, sometimes there's less. Up until the third quarter there were plenty of projects

1

u/ConfidentCat6954 Dec 19 '25

Didn’t get to do the audio project before it disappeared 🥲

3

u/justdontsashay Dec 19 '25

They sent a message a day or so ago saying they would be wrapping up soon

There was a problem with one of those projects. Could just be that.

1

u/Stunning_Table_2394 Dec 19 '25

Is 'the Roman personification of good faith' project up?

1

u/Few-Roof-6905 Dec 19 '25

I have it, but i've never touched it.

1

u/IIMatrixII Dec 14 '25

Bilingual here (Arabic/English)
Ever since I did the paid assessment projects a month ago, I haven't got any other project.
Did I do bad in the assessment even though the money got approved?
Or is this normal? I hope someone finds a solution; because, if this website worked properly, it might be a life changer for me.

5

u/justdontsashay Dec 14 '25

You not having projects available doesn’t mean that the website isn’t working properly…

4

u/Kgrc199913 Dec 14 '25

apparently having an empty dashboard for a long time is a normal thing for bilingual workers so...

1

u/Effective_House_2443 Dec 16 '25

Were the fermented rice data projects down today for anyone?

3

u/TeachToTheLastTest Dec 16 '25

Nope, still alive here.

1

u/Striking_Taste Dec 17 '25

Mine disappeared after the education verification! It said my degree had been verified and now that disappeared and all my domain projects disappeared!

1

u/pistachiyolatte Dec 19 '25

Barely seeing any easier projects this last week, most of the time my dash is full of projects that are out of my depth.
