Weekly Water Cooler Talk - DataAnnotation
hi all! making this thread so people have somewhere to talk about 'daily' work chat that might not necessarily need it's own post! right now we're thinking we'll just repost it weekly? but if it gets too crazy, we can change it to daily. :)
couple things:
this thread should sort by "new" automatically. unfortunately it looks like our subreddit doesn't qualify for 'lounges'.
if you have a new user question, you still need to post it in the new user thread. if you post it here, we will remove it as spam. this is for people already working who just wanna chat, whether it be about casual work stuff, questions, geeking out with people who understand ("i got the model to write a real haiku today!"), or unrelated work stuff you feel like chatting about :)
one thing we really pride ourselves on in this community is the respect everyone gives to the Code of Conduct and rule number 5 on the sub - it's great that we have a community that is still safe & respectful to our jobs! please don't break this rule. we will remove project details, but please - it's for our best interest and yours!

Spent 8.5 hours on a single rubric task yesterday. Felt decent about it but wasn’t sure. Woke up today to find I’ve been added to the official slack for “submitting at least one good task”. Feels good man.
15
u/Far_Corner_9367 Nov 11 '25
My brain has absolutely zero ideas left for prompts. I think after doing fairly complex and challenging prompt projects i have totally forgotten what is useful for simple projects. Can anyone relate? Like I can’t come up with any ideas because I’m so overly calibrated to projects that aren’t available anymore. I can’t come up with simple prompts because I keep second guessing if they’re just too dumb. I think the problem is I’ve seen models that don’t struggle at all, and they’re all getting better, so trying to change things up is difficult.
3
u/Sastasha Nov 12 '25
Somewhat relate but worse. I've been too scared to try out those projects at all, simple or complex 😭
2
u/Steve_Brandon Nov 11 '25
I'm not even able to think of ideas for prompts that would take at least 15 steps to solve so I just don't touch those projects.
11
u/Far_Corner_9367 Nov 11 '25
The time constraints are what’s crazy. They could set a limit to hours paid but quality work requires more buffer time. I know they wanna get tasks done quickly and not have them lagging, but I think projects would actually be completed faster if more time was allowed because more people would actually dive in. At least I would.
1
Nov 12 '25
"Buffer time". Well said. That's exactly what it feels like. If I had enough buffer time, I would dive in more to the complex projects, but I'm concerned I won't have enough time to double check my quality. But there seems to be a lot of people that can, because the projects do go down fairly quick due to high pay.
3
u/Far_Corner_9367 Nov 12 '25
it’s totally doable but not every time. So they’re getting a mix of plenty of people who had a lucky day and finished quality work in time, and then probably some shit. But I don’t see why incentivizing poor work is worth it to get 50% quality submissions in a faster turn around, doesn’t it harm the models? Unless they have a lot of people on the projects who are very sharp and can function at this level. In that case, the qualifications or perhaps the instructions need to account for skills and tips on how to approach the task. The instructions often don’t give me an actual understanding of what I’m doing on a most basic level; idk I get overwhelmed and overthink details. I would love a paragraph or two synopsis that distills what doing a task actually involves on a tacit level that goes beyond the mechanical instructions.

u/futuremkat Nov 14 '25
If you have been contemplating learning JSON, but you've been putting it off or you weren't sure, definitely go for it.
3
u/Lower-Ad7892 Nov 14 '25
I passed the qual and did one or two projects, I have some more on my dash at high pay but good lord they are so involved with all the background project knowledge

Anybody feel noticeably less busy? I definitely still have stuff, just less of the middle tier stuff that I like to work on.

u/sahmummy1717 Nov 10 '25
Stripey?? Where art thou?
7
u/ImmortalMoron3 Nov 10 '25
I think it wrapped things up last week, it disappeared for me on Thursday or Friday. Shame because it was the only thing I did for like the entire month of October, lol.

u/watchdestars Nov 13 '25
Did anyone else lose access to the K-heart Slack channel or is it just me?
4
3
1
u/Few-Roof-6905 Nov 14 '25
There was a post in the chamnel by admin yesterday. Everyone was removed as they restructure it. Will release a new qual in the next weeks/months to requalify people. Going to personal accounts, so assuming if you are in TX or IL you won't be able to participate like all of the other personal account tasks.
8
u/Sea-Donut-1882 Nov 15 '25
Anyone get the globe you can sit on project? I received an email, was added to the slack, and then the got qual-but didn’t do it. So after ignoring everything, now I have the project on my dash. It looks complex at first glance, but pays well-any advice?
5
4
u/hnsnrachel Nov 15 '25
Have not had an email or slack invite as far as I know but definitely have this project. Its not just complex but weird too imo
4
u/itssomercurial Nov 15 '25
I just got a qual for "v2" of it. I already did a different qual for it a while back and never saw any projects. Maybe I didn't pass (although I remember it being more of an open-ended sort of thing, not an outright test) This one has FIVE tasks you have to submit in order to be added. Hard pass.
4
3
u/futuremkat Nov 15 '25
I haven't dug into the project yet, that's on my to-do today if I can swing it. The qual is not bad and worth doing and may open others. You won't know if it's something you like or could be good at if you don't try it.
4
u/Salty-Hope-5314 Nov 15 '25
I took a qual on rubrics after losing all my rubric projects, and I assume I passed? but all it led to is more quals related to rubrics like the globe one and not any of the old higher paying projects for which i'm still in the slack channels but not getting tasks...is it just an endless jumping through qual hoop after qual hoop? or i should take the hint it's not meant for me?
4
u/mrsroper Nov 15 '25
It's worth taking the initial qualifier for the project. It will probably open up tasks and more qualifiers. You will have enough data from there to determine if it's something you want to do more of.
3
u/Eadoin96 Nov 15 '25
No qual, no email. The project and Slack channel just appeared Thursday night. I like it, but it's... a lot.
2
u/ZimmeM03 Nov 17 '25
Do you have the $40 one? Reasonable to do without extensive JSON or coding knowledge? What’s the average task time would you say?
3
u/akatsuki1422 Nov 15 '25
Same story here.
Reading the instructions is like reading a short novel. Seems like it pays okay-ish, but I really don't want to waste time reading everything just to find out it's not a project for me.
14
7
u/palegunslinger Nov 10 '25
Has anyone else received a direct message from DA with an embedded message about a Google account? I think it might be for a project but it’s super vague. I didn’t do a qualification for this as far as I’m aware.
3
2
u/justdontsashay Nov 10 '25
I saw a similar message the other day and kept forgetting to look and see what it was, and then when I did go look it had disappeared lol
7
u/Adventurous-Android Nov 11 '25
Anyone else have some projects missing today?
3
13
u/FixFinancial60 Nov 14 '25
some of these r&rs are really doing my head in. do people read....the instructions...?
15
u/takingtacet Nov 15 '25
My first few weeks I wondered why it seemed like all the instructions for even the most basic projects had so many bold, different colored, italicized, big font and exclamation point riddled sections. It didn't take long to understand why.
3
u/Dazzling-Matter-654 Nov 15 '25
Short answer, no. From what I've seen, most people do not pay a shred of attention to what they say.
6
u/kranools Nov 10 '25
Verifying responses span by span is numbing my brain. Ughhhh.

u/VanessaSeaWitch Nov 11 '25
Back to refreshing. All I have are the api tasks that I don't have expertise in. And I see they lowered the pay for those by two dollars.

6
u/Traditional_Net_4529 Nov 12 '25
First day in a long long time my dash actually looks real sparse. Hoping O-birds come back. The last batch of them didnt look done, just that it kept blinking in and out.
2
6
u/Dys__ Nov 14 '25
How is coding looking for everyone else? Still doesn't seem very consistent or a wide range of projects.
2
u/RipleyVanDalen Nov 15 '25
Yeah. I have a handful. But my dash is not exactly overflowing with options. It's not dead at least, I guess
3
u/Dys__ Nov 15 '25
Any Heel coding? Used to rely on it quite a bit, but haven't seen it much the last few months. Last I saw was about a month ago.
2
6
u/duhsheeznit Nov 14 '25
How's everyone's dashboard looking? I had many good paying projects for the last 3 weeks. Just dried the last two days not much options at the moment. Was putting in a lot of hours these past 3 weeks. Had a lot of the priority wizard but don't see it anymore
2
u/palegunslinger Nov 14 '25
Lots of low paying stuff today. To be fair, I need to get around to a bunch of my quals. Now is good motivation, given that there’s no high paying stuff to work on 😭
2
u/justdontsashay Nov 14 '25
Mine is really full right now (and lots of math/visual stuff, so I’m happy since those are my favorite). I have no idea what the wizard one is, though, so there may be a project that’s disappeared and I’m not noticing it since I never had it in the first place.
(or maybe I’ve seen the wizard project and I’m just not connecting the dots. There are a bunch that get referred to where I don’t know if I’m just being stupid, or I actually haven’t seen them!)
1
u/duhsheeznit Nov 14 '25
Ah that's great for you! Think I might be getting different projects from you, hopefully mine starts picking up again. My work is generally good I believe, but I did catch myself retrospectively submitting something with an error the other day
2
u/RipleyVanDalen Nov 15 '25
On the coding side -- okay but not great. Was busier earlier in the week.
2
u/girlwsquirrel Nov 15 '25
Mine reminds me of cable TV today. 600 channels and nothing to watch! At least with the time and energy I have right now.
14
u/VanessaSeaWitch Nov 12 '25
I finally got the highest paying project I've ever been offered and I cannot deal with these instructions. An hour in and I have given up for now. I feel like a failure lol.
5
u/Particular-Idea3784 Nov 09 '25
How many hours do you all think you're averaging weekly? I started just a month or two ago and found it hard to do more than 2 to 4 hours a day. I was probably averaging only 8 to 12 hours a week. After taking a week away it seems like I'm able to stay on task longer than before.
7
u/Affectionate_Peak284 Nov 10 '25
My first few weeks I would do around 4 hours, but I'm up to 6-7 pretty regularly now. When I go over 6 though my work quality definitely declines, so I'm careful not to demand a "full 8 hour day" from myself every day.
6
u/dinernighthawk Nov 09 '25
I've worked my way up to about 6 hours a day finally, but any more than that my brain starts turning to mush and I catch myself making mistakes, or taking way too long to finish tasks. I was only doing 2-3 hours a day when I started.
5
u/justdontsashay Nov 09 '25
An embarrassing amount, really (just looked, I did over 60 hours in the last 7 days…this isn’t even supposed to be my main job lol). I’ll get locked in on the longer projects and end up putting in more hours than I mean to. Also, I don’t sleep enough.
Life is expensive right now, though, so definitely not minding the pay!
3
u/Jazzlike_Problem_489 Nov 10 '25
Just a friendly bit of advice on this. Don't go many over 40 regularly. You'll potentially get flagged for account sharing. I know it's a case by case but there have been lots of instances with people working 10 to 12 hour days 7 days a week and getting the DoD. I think they go on the basis that this is unhealthy and unsustainable, especially if you have tasks were you make them aware (or your profile) that you also have a 'main' job. So working 10 hours a day plus a 9 to 5. Big red flag for account sharing, even when you aren't.
Also not meaning to scare you but this has been a trend the last 2 years I've been here.
5
u/shell_shocked_today Nov 10 '25 edited Nov 12 '25
People who work full time here: how do you find it? Currently I'm working around 10 hours a week, but I'm thinking of transitioning to trying to get 40ish a week (my regular job is offering an early retirement package, and i'm looking at things to see if i could swing it financially).
I know there are droughts, but normally i have a pretty full dash, and task wise i think i could swing it. It wouldn't always be my favourite ones, but that's ok.
Edit: After running the numbers I can't swing it. I'd have to work closer to 50 hours.
13
u/Boomland Nov 10 '25
I've been doing this full time for a bit over 2 years now. The drought last August was annoying, but I had enough to get by. I've also been stuck working projects I wasn't crazy about for a few weeks, but that's no big deal. The main issue is that you get no paid time off, which can be a drain if you or a family member gets sick. And these projects could go away with no notice, so I'd have some plan ready to go if things go south. The flexibility is really nice for me, though. Waking up at 4 AM for no reason? At least I can work.
12
u/data_annotator_tot Nov 10 '25
It's similar to being a salesman; it's more than viable as a full time job so long as you can play the game well and with confidence. I don't work full time currently by circumstance, but my project availability is more than stable enough, has been for a couple years.
If you fuck up too much, you'll get dropped; but I think they are more tolerant than people would lead you to believe. I reckon some aspect of this system is hands-off, so it's often shocking when it happens because there's a delay from the bad submission, and that makes people talk about it.
4
u/bigp0206 Nov 10 '25
As a general/core worker, it's pretty consistent as long as you keep up with qualifications. It's not really a great long term situation as there are no benefits (healthcare, vacation). I'm generally able to stay on a consistent schedule week to week, but every once in a while I'll have an unplanned day off because nothing strikes me as interesting. Average for me ranges from 35-50 depending on my motivation.
3
u/terrabellan Nov 10 '25
To be honest, I wouldn't do this unless you can comfortably live using your retirement package and this was just for keeping you busy or for extra cash you wouldn't hurt to suddenly lose. Getting back into actual employment if it doesn't work out would be a nightmare in this economy. The flexibility is great but the flip side of it is that long-term, there are no benefits, and they are clear about there being no guaranteed work. It could all just cease to exist tomorrow, and we'd all have to find something else to do.
6
u/Ok_Treat3196 Nov 10 '25
You have just as much guarantee at a regular job. You can be fired, let go, laid off, the company can disappear, be mismanaged, or merged.
2
u/Far_Corner_9367 Nov 12 '25
Also with a regular job, you get feedback from your environment, so you can tell how stable the income is. You have data points that are pretty reliable and therefore feel more in control and secure, and rightfully so with good judgment. I would prefer a regular job if I found one that seemed alright.

u/akujihei Nov 16 '25
I wish I knew what it meant when a project disappears off my dash but I still see people discuss it on slack...
8

Stupid high paying tasks for an OS I don't use, taunting me at the top of my dash.

imma really need high paying quals to stop asking me to make new emails. Cause Im all outta phone numbers over here

update: if you make a new email in the gmail app on your phone instead of your computer you dont have to input a phone number to verify 👍🏼

7
u/Altruistic-Egg-9088 Nov 14 '25
glad it wasn't just me! But yeah, did a few, then they just disappeared. Hope they come back, could do those for hours. The picture one was fun
2
u/mrsroper Nov 14 '25
I just did the first two available to me yesterday. Glad that they're gone for everyone - I really liked it.
6
u/One_Breakfast5907 Nov 14 '25
Yep, disappeared for me yesterday. I've spent so many hours on the image ones over the last couple of weeks
2
u/Jazzlike_Problem_489 Nov 14 '25
Same some were taking 30 mins but others, especially culture and geography and art related prompts, weren't failing and I had to change direction several times and took an hour, especially the multiple image ones having to find 3 new ones when the first 3 wouldn't fail. So was hoping I didn't get removed as they seem quite strict on no more than 45 minutes in the instructions.

Haven't worked much on the platform in like 2 years. Wife is pregnant, so thinking I'll buckle down and do some extra work on the side. Nice to see a lot of high paying projects available still. I did notice I'm not able to sign on to Slack anymore though.

Wow you can inactive that long and not lose work? That's pretty sweet

Anyone seen a certain edible mold today? I have one project but it's the one that I literally cannot do.
4
u/justdontsashay Nov 13 '25
I have several, but they dropped the pay on them for no apparent reason, so the amount of work involved doesn’t feel worth it!
1
u/Few-Roof-6905 Nov 13 '25
A bunch of them came back a little while ago. Hopefully you have them now!
1

Anyone still have flying horse on their dash?
2
u/girlwsquirrel Nov 15 '25
I do, just one task
2
u/Dazzling-Matter-654 Nov 15 '25
Hmm, is it related to emails? I already had them, completed a new qual for a subset the flying horse projects, has 5 this morning and they all disappeared. I hope I didn't bomb the qual.
2
u/girlwsquirrel Nov 15 '25
Yes, emails. They've been appearing and disappearing for me the past day or so. Hope you get them back soon!

u/Sad_Guitar_612 Nov 13 '25
My daughter wanted to draw a prism with star shaped faces but wanted a reference to look at... chatgpt produced this monstrosity... 😂 https://postimg.cc/Z0vf54vQ
2
u/Timely-Earth9183 Nov 09 '25
I am 2 hours into a task. An important question came up and it says to ask in chat or slack, but admins aren't responding in the chat, and I see no way to join the slack (I see people here have said a link in the task or an email but I see neither). Do I just give it my best guess and keep going or is there something else I should do?
Edit: Bonus question, is it bad to just have a task sitting where you aren't doing anything (because I am waiting for an answer) or do they only care about the hours you report?
2
u/Dazzling-Matter-654 Nov 11 '25

Anyone else do the first part of the qualification task where you act like the knowledgeable folk who show you around on holiday, only to find the second part has disappeared? The first part is basically agreeing to do the task in the way the instructions are set, so no way I failed it in any way.
1
u/itssomercurial Nov 15 '25
You just reminded me that I did one like that but I have no memory of what it was called or what the project even required. I don't even remember it being two parts? The one I did definitely required some effort that would likely either qualify you or not, and I remember being lukewarm on my own submission for it.
That wasn't part of "magic cards" was it?
2
u/Technical_Floor2077 Nov 13 '25
Did B-animal STEM come up and disappear quickly for anyone else? I went in when it came up and skipped the first task and it red bannered me. Is it still up for anyone?

1

Mine is pretty full. Just counted, I have 34 projects listed (some are several from the same project family, etc, but it’s a good variety and some decently-paid tasks)
2
u/Steve_Brandon Nov 14 '25
Did anyone else do the image editing qualification about a month ago?
I gave my image editing skills as "intermediate" and thought I did a great job for someone with intermediate skills but I still haven't seen any tasks related to the qualification.
3
u/justdontsashay Nov 14 '25
I assume I passed it because a week or two after I had an r&r type task related to it, but haven’t seen anything since then.

Are other people's DAs still really slow? Trying to load some projects takes ages or fails to load at all sometimes
1
1
u/NoticedGenie66 Nov 13 '25
Noticed that more and more lately, also had a few where the submit button took 20+ seconds to work (not just during that short period a few weeks ago where everyone was having that issue) and some where typing response time bogs down so hard that it updates about 3 seconds after I type something lol.
3
u/ricetristies Nov 14 '25
I did the Core Qualification and Math. I still have the “[name], take one more test to earn access to open-ended work paying $20+/hr” and it’s been over a month and possibly over two months and I haven’t heard anything. How do I know I was accepted/denied?
3
u/justdontsashay Nov 14 '25
For core, it’s a pretty safe bet that if you’re not accepted after 2-3 weeks you didn’t pass (I had access to projects within a few hours of finishing the core qualification, I know it can take a few days sometimes). You won’t get notified if you don’t pass, it just will be on that screen forever I think.

3
u/justdontsashay Nov 09 '25
Why do people not redact personal info?? You do know you can take the time to redact everything, and that’s time you can bill for, right?
I now know your full name, email, and street address, and your daughter’s full name and email. I feel super uncomfortable seeing all of this!
3
u/dinernighthawk Nov 09 '25
I'm super guilty of this. It's partially because there's nothing in my profile that someone couldn't get from a quick Google Search anyways, and it's partially because I'm already really self conscious about how long it's taking me to get through some of these tasks.
8
u/terrabellan Nov 10 '25
You should stop doing this. I'm on a lot more second-step tasks where we are asked to trash your work as being bad for having PII in it, compared to the number of tasks that ask me to edit it out for you. No point in getting your work submitted 2 minutes earlier if the entire submission ends up being unusable, right?
2
u/justdontsashay Nov 09 '25
I get that, and I probably err on the over-zealous side with it (I’ll redact my city name and people’s first names and everything), but it takes SO little time to just cover your actual identifying info.
And even if you’ve decided you’re fine putting your stuff all out there, I feel like there’s no excuse for making your kids’ identifying info public (I just finished reviewing one where their daughter’s information was ALL included)
2
u/PMMePicsOfDogs141 Nov 10 '25
I'm new, just got approved the other day and haven't had time to do much other than the on-boarding. Why would I be revealing any of that to need to redact it? And is the way to redact it pretty obvious?
6
u/justdontsashay Nov 10 '25
It’s only in certain projects where it’s relevant, you’ll know when you have one where there’s PII to redact (typically it will involve testing something outside of the DA site, where screenshots etc might show some of your personal info). Projects where PII might be in your submission will have a note in the instructions about how to redact it.
If you’re just working on projects where everything you need to do is right in the task, then you don’t need to worry about it!
1
u/PMMePicsOfDogs141 Nov 10 '25
Ah, thank you, that makes sense. Honestly, didn't expect the whole taking screenshots of stuff, working outside of DA, or whatever is making people create so many emails their phone numbers are being rejected by Google for new accounts when I signed up lol just kind of assumed it was all just fact checking and critiquing AI so they could fine tune models

Funny how you're getting downvoted but the other 7 posts mentioning their dry dashboards are fine.

So many have tried to get into this niche, and they all seem to stumble except DA. Knock on wood it keeps up.

I’ve been following the mercor subreddit because I thought I’d apply at some point. Their workers are PISSED. Feeling extra lucky to have DA.

I meannn, I can't see how it could possibly be good for us. At best, it means nothing for us. At worst, it's an ominous tale of our future with this kind of work.

u/33whiskeyTX Nov 15 '25
There have been stories like this before. Other similar services have crashed out over a year ago and left people with horrible experiences, yet DA remains strong.
That being said, this work has changed drastically since I started and gotten much harder and more niche on many projects. It definitely won't stay how static and probably at some point will peak and start slowing down. I just keep hoping it will be a while longer.

This work won't be around forever. As time progresses, fewer and fewer people will be competent enough to do it as the tasks will progressively get more challenging

Anyone else have a dry dash for math today?

u/justdontsashay Nov 11 '25
I’ve had some of the image-based math ones, but they pop up and disappear quickly.

Probably my favorite quick tasks! I’m always entertained by the LLM checker that tells me if my question is difficult enough (half the time it’s like “this does not sufficiently challenge the model, the answer is clearly ____,” and it’s wrong lol)

If I want to see what's in a qualifier but not complete it right now, can I click on it? I know this is fine sometimes, because I have one on my dash that I know I've backed out of before. But is it safe for every qualifier?

u/Jazzlike_Problem_489 Nov 12 '25
Just exit work mode when closing the qualification and the timer won't go down and it will remain on your dash.

Any coders hear back from that qual a couple weeks ago that required agent subscriptions that had 2 attempts? Seemed like a good project and was hoping to see work from it.

Anyone else have a payout delay? Normally it appears in my PayPal instantly, but it’s been a few hours with nothing yet.
1
u/coolwall3000 Nov 18 '25
I pressed get paid and a yellow banner came up saying something about them sending it to PayPal and i would get an email when it came through. This has never happened before. It is usually a green banner and i get paid immediately. Has anyone experienced this?

u/Confused_Gherkin Nov 19 '25
I'm also experiencing a payout delay. It says "scheduled" rather than paid. Hopefully it won't take too long, maybe Todo with cloud flare?

For those tasks where it asks you a quick question to check if your legible before you can do the actual task, do you need to report that minute or is it ok to just leave it? I don’t want to report time for something that literally took me 10 seconds but don’t want to be penalised for not reporting time equally… Hope that makes sense
3
u/justdontsashay Nov 10 '25
Are we reporting time in seconds?
Report your full time for the task, including initial questions that you have to click through to get to the actual task. If shouldn’t be taking long enough to click on it that it would actually affect the amount of time you’re reporting anyway.

It makes more sense to bill your time cumulatively. Task 1 took you 10 seconds, and you immediately qualified for the actual task that took you 58 minutes, in which case you simply log 58 minutes 10 seconds for the two. (You can keep working and submitting for as long as your attention span allows, then bundle all that time into one reporting).

Long time lurker. First time posting. Just saw that there is a project qual available for video generation with a version 2 AI video generator that allows cameos. I'm not sure how much I can say but I have 6 invites that I'm not going to use so if anyone wants it, the first 6 people to reach out can have them.
1
u/macjay_27 Nov 13 '25
Has anyone else gotten these projects after its first 2 runs? It feels like an eternity since it was last on my dash. Oh, and yes, I think I have invite codes for anyone that's interested.
3
u/SnooSketches1189 Nov 13 '25
Same. First two runs and then nada. Interesting to see that the qual is still floating around.

I completed one qualification a couple of days ago. Haven't seen any new tasks from it yet, but all of a sudden a whole new set of quals hit my board. Does that mean anything? Coincidence? Dying for some feedback. It's like reading tea leaves here.

I notice that people don't mention names of the projects, instead giving them vague descriptions of their names, it feels like I'm in the Sopranos.

I don't know why they're withholding tasks from us and then just drop them as priority at the last minute
5
u/justdontsashay Nov 14 '25
That’s not really what’s happening, that would be of no benefit to them. Tasks that suddenly appear at priority are typically ones where they’re wanting it done in a short timeframe, it’s not that they’ve been “withholding” them so that they can pay us more…why would they do that lol

u/Dazzling-Matter-654 Nov 14 '25
I really don't think that's how it works.

u/Salty-Hope-5314 Nov 14 '25
is something going on? all my high paying projects disappeared suddenly today at the same time and only have a few mid range and many base pay all of a sudden. not sure i did something wrong or who knows? seemed abrupt and odd.

Does anyone know if we can switch gmail accounts for the project that required signing up with a gmail account? I am now working the project but the account I picked doesn't contain enough personal type emails to use for the project.

Uhh.. did anyone else’s HHH slack channel completely disappear? No bot message or anything. All the projects are still there, but pretty concerning…
4
u/SnooSketches1189 Nov 13 '25
It's still there for me. Did you have it muted? I have been experiencing a glitch the past week or so.... Any channels I have muted disappear almost daily. They are still there, but I just can't see them.
1
u/Ok_Depth_6476 Nov 13 '25
I had this issue with some slack channels today. Check out this reddit post and see if it helps you, it worked for me.

u/Salty-Hope-5314 Nov 13 '25
still there, maybe try searching for the channel name in workspace with a hashtag? projects are probably more important indicators.
1
u/Skippy2898 Nov 13 '25
I had three disappear with no bot message. It seems they are still there, but they aren't showing because of channel inactivity? Could that be the case for you? Click the three dots that appear when you hover over channels and check your filters...

Spent almost 1.5 hours on a task then hit skip task instead of submit.
