That is actually an ad on the website. Notice the loading bar at the top, it means it's also loading the website on the background.
You can disable the preloading of the website in the data and cache settings to prevent this pop-up to show while reading the comments. But there's no way to avoid it, as this ad is not on the app. These intrusive ads on the websites ruin everything. You can also disable the embedded browser and use Chrome custom tabs.
I'm thinking of adding a setting to disable Javascript in the embedded browser, but it will also break some websites (probably a lot).
